Always wanted to learn to paint. This was my excuse. Bought an OK gun, some Eastwood Hot Rod Satin Black and gave it a shot. Took a couple tries (had to sand it back down and start over, as I screwed up the first time), took WAY longer than I'd have thought, but I'm pretty happy with the...
Just checked mine, as a precaution.
I can say that they were not 148 ftlbs (assuming that's the correct spec). I got about 1/4 on all 4 to get to 148 ftlbs.
It will come as no surprise to many here...
Purchased a front track bar from Rusty's a couple of months ago to go with my Mopar lift. Purchased their steering box brace at the same time.
As for the steering brace, I will own that. My particular Gladi has an 1/8" plate on the coil bucket...
Had a TRD Pro. Worst truck I've ever owned. Suspension was great, for factory. But the engine/transmission combo was the worst thing I've ever owned. Infotainment came right from 1998. Luckily, a sucker is born every minute, so it wasn't an expensive experience. Owned it for less than a...
There are two bussed returns that go to ground points on the passenger fender, right near the battery. The heat shrink was JUST long enough so that it created an insulator between the lug and the ground point. They peeled all the heat shrink back, re-flowed the solder and put on new heatshrink...
I had a similar situation on the first day of ownership. It was very intermission. Fine one day, Christmas Tree of codes the next.
Turns out, it was simply too much heat shrink over one of the main ECU returns causing resistance to ground.
Just did mine. 4.5 hrs, with the wife handing me tools and beer. And that was taking my time, torquing every bolt to spec, marking with a paint pen, etc.
A "mid torque" mini cordless impact saves a TON of time. Well worth the $150 I spent on mine (without battery).
Upgraded to the MOPAR 2" diesel specific lift, so I need to sell the stock Rubicon Diesel suspension. 4000 miles on them. Very good condition, no scratches, scuffs, leaks.
Makes for a nice update to non-Rubicon diesel or gas,

Another one echoing the praises of the MOPAR 2" diesel specific kit l, here.
The ride in the front is a bit firmer, without being harsh in the least. The ride in the rear is a good bit firmer, but again nowhere near harsh.
I did the Terraflex 1" level in the front (left the second 1/2" off...
The problem I had with Hydrosuds is that when washing a white vehicle, if you leave ANYTHING behind, the tiny bit of ceramic that it contains ends up encapsulating the dirt you missed, and it takes IPA to get it off again.
I second the Blacklight (the soap). I buy it (and most of my CG's stuff) by the gallon, makes it significantly more cost effective.
Blacklight is about the best I've used, CG or otherwise. I don't only use it for my black car and truck. Makes my Sting Gray Glad shine really well too.
