Similar to others, never an issue at the Clermont location when I make an appointment. Everyone is courteous and they do a quality job. One of the few auto service places I trust these days!!
I had this issue with my 2020. It was really noticeable living in Florida where all of a sudden you would get this rush of warm humid air in the cabin. I had the TSB done and no longer notice the issue.
I have been a big Bilstein fan since I put on my AEV lift. I have often compared the ride to feeling like a german vehicle (highly damped and a feeling of more control when turning and manuevering). Not sure how different the AEV versions are as they are supposedly valved to match the springs...
I did have to remove some plastic. In my case it was about a .5 x.5 piece of plastic. When I was looking at mounting points in that area I chose the spot that had the least interference. I cut the plastic tab with a pair of wire cutters (didn't need a dremel). I just had to take a small corner...
I had a Sunrider that I went with first and I loved the flip back the roof option so much I decided to go full soft top. Found an almost new premium soft top from FB Marketplace. Put it on January last year and the hard top will probably never see the light of day again.
I did consider this but the only time I have anything plugged into the 12v is when I have my CB plugged in on trail rides. Im never towing while anything is plugged in to the 12v so no issues of it being blocked...at least based on how I have used the outlet in the past :)
Definitely took the advice here of placing it in a spot that is easy to reach but not easy to accidentally hit. I didn't want to move the 12v outlet and this was as close to the stock location as I could get with out relocating the outlet. I think a pretty good compromise.
Got my new trailer brake controller installed today. Went with the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty. Big shout out to @RudeJeepin for the mounting idea. I think it came out great!
Just over 2 years and could not be happier. The JT has performed well with only 1 mechanical issue which was a bad seal on the water pump causing an oil leak. She has taken everything I can throw at her and never complains. Every trail scratch is a reminder of the fun it has been.
I am a huge fan of the AEV kit. I installed it on my max tow because its the only lift that keeps the suspension rake and full tow capability of the max tow option. Ride is amazing on road and very capable offload.
I love my Gladiator and bought it for its size. That said we just bought our daughter her first jeep; a 2002 Sahara in nearly perfect condition and I am absolutely in love with it. I have been driving it more than my Gladiator over the past few weeks. The size and just pure fun of driving the...
I have the VOS JL300 which mounts in the same space as the OEM but gives 2 more switches just in case:). Absolutely love it. Easy to install and easy to wire new accessories too.
I have had good luck with the major Jeep part companies, Metalcloak, Northridge, Morris, AEV, even Quadratec and any issue was immediately resolved. Real Truck has been my most unpleasant experience and I won't ever use them again. They absolutely made no effort to resolve anything on a...
Any thought on just using a relocation bracket in the rear. The AEV unit is solid and provided better geometry and handling to boot. In the end I also added metalcloak track bars front and rear. Rear was really just for looks as I love the gold plating that they use. Needed the front to re...
