I've got 37" Yoko X-AT with 5.38s. I previously had 4.88s. But when I added lockers, I went to 5.38s. I'm glad I did. I can get around 15mpg on the highway running 70mph. Not a huge difference between my friend's 5.13s. But the big difference is when I tow. I have about 5 trailers that I tow and...
Someone beat me to it, but I was going to say that it's a Suntop. I had one back in 2021 when Suntop first started producing soft tops for the JT. I had the Black soft top, not the Brown. Back then they were only being manufactured in Italy and I had to wait a while for it to ship to me.
I...
Right?! I've used the "contact us" form twice in the last month for a couple businesses. Never got contacted. I called them and was immediately taken care of.
This unit was originally bought for a 2018+ Jeep JL Wrangler or a Jeep JT Gladiator. I have all of the wiring for those vehicles.
But I also have a universal wiring harness so the unit can be used in older vehicles.
There is nothing wrong with it. I bought this unit a couple years ago and was...
Good catch. Had that issue too on my white Ram. Wasn't on completely tight which was just enough to leak. Couldn't really tell it in the beginning, but over time, it looked really bad.
I hope that's the fix for you.👍🏾
I replaced my reservoir back in May 2023 for the same issue. In the exact same spot. I had 144,000 miles on my Jeep at the time. If I can remember, I THINK mine was cracked on the nipple for the tank because I reused the hose itself. I assume it may be related to offroading or the normal...
🤣🤣My bad! Crazy how two letters can completely change the direction of a conversation!🤣🤣
But, you do not have to leave it plugged in. That's one of the benefits of jscan which allows you to use the same adapter and cables on multiple vehicles.
I know you asked @ShadowsPapa the question, but I can share my experience suing Jscan on multiple vehicles, if I'm understanding your question correctly.
I purchased the VINs and used my adapter and jscan on five of our vehicles. My JT, wife's JKU, and parent's Ram, Charger, and Pacifica. The...
2020 Overland w/ 197k miles
Mods: 3.5" Metalcloak, Apex steering, Airbags, ARS Rack, DV8 stuff, Audio stuff
I call it the mule. It's not pretty but it works hard. I rock crawl, offroad, and tow 5 different trailers including my boat.
No lighting mods though. Rock crawling and other toys...
I agree with @pcrawfordpt. It could be a number of things especially when you're dealing with the driveline. It could be the carrier bearing, driveshaft itself, pinion bearing, etc. A lot of times (with any vehicle), when you hear a sound, it could echo through several components and lead you...
My only issue with some (not all) dealerships is that they're doing quick fixes and not properly diagnosing the issues like an offroad shop. And then when they do make a correction/fix, it seems like they half-assing the work. Been there, done that, and learned my lesson. They made a mistake...
I don't know about the most recent JT he worked on, but when my issue first started, you could barely hear it. Over time it turned into what sounded like a scraping/grinding noise and you can hear it from takeoff to stop.
I actually had a camera underneath to show the sound in my youtube video.
Just making this post as an awareness post and maybe it might help someone at the same time.
So, back around October 2024 I did a youtube video about an issue I was having. It was a grinding noise coming from my driveline. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. I installed video...
In my first profile pic or the one that I have now?
The first profile pic was from 2023 at Hidden Falls Offroad park in Marble Falls, TX and I didn't make it that day. I had the mopar 2" lift and it wasn't enough. My frame kept getting hung on the rock. I tried to bump it and it still didn't...
