Many use the Zero Breeze or other portable AC unit to their rig for overlanding. It sits outside and you run a hose inside to direct the cool air. lots of variations on YouTube depending on your setup.
Yeah I went round and round myself and ALMOST bought the sport/glass door model. Then I saw someone with a busted out door and decided to go with the EvoA. Glad I did, I use the interior molle panels on both doors now. That is really handy. I have fire extinguisher, first aid kit, air-down...
Very nice build, great quality part choices as well.
If you could get to Overland Expo Mtn West this coming weekend, or likely one of the other locations, search out Aaron Hagar. His Mojave build is similar to this (AluCab, 35" BFG KO2's, etc.) and built for long overlanding trips. He just...
Wow, I am in AZ and it has the highest credit in the USA - makes me feel a little better about trading my 2019 JLU in for a 2021 JT Mojave. I never realized it ha.
I have two. First the easy one...Jeeps have many uses besides rock crawling and several models are capable as well as fun - you don't need a fully built Wrangler to be a "real Jeeper". So stop hounding or bullying people that don't have a rock-crawler build.
And now the real unpopular...
I just found an update saying that apparently this happened a long time ago and someone just reported it on the 7th. So the NFS just heard about it and closed the trail to go recover. No other news so I assume whomever it was got out and left and never went back for their jeep. Based on that...
Did you hear or see the wrangler that rolled off somewhere along Schnebly Hill Road? I saw a post about it on FB in a local Jeep group. No word on driver/passengers. Love that run, I do it at least once a year lol. Camping up top is always fun as well!
Glad you and your JT came out of that safe & sound.
Why people do that...my take:
Not paying attention
Simpleton that likely shouldn't be driving at all
Over-confident, self-centered idiot that doesn't feel the need to wait like everyone else
If they took $81 K off then they would owe you money to take the vehicle, lol. I would go for that deal! Prices are going bonkers and if Jeep continues on this path I predict a huge increase in sales for other brands. Seriously, many people just cannot afford $50K + for a new Jeep -...
I saw an article recently indicating that based on some of the concept vehicles Jeep showcased this year that the new models may have a more swept back windshield. That alone will help reduce the cracks and chips since the primary problem is the nearly vertical stance they have now. Personally...
My take is just that often the topic IS about a specific trim level so I hate it when people post a question that is so vague that we have 20 pages of questions relating to the details that should have been posted in the first place.
Does it matter what color my JT is? No
Does it matter what the...
I have had Jeeps since 1991 and have never been ducked. I thought my 2019 JLU would get one because it looked great and ducking around the region seems to have picked up - but nope. My 2021 JT hasn't been ducked either. Maybe I don't park in the "right" locations around town. ha.
In general I...
Hope you are right. They should recognize that the Gladiator needs a bigger engine option both for the vehicle use cases we have and to compete with other brands. If they don't then I agree with many here that the sales will decrease & Jeep will lose customers IMO.
I have added a metal front bumper, winch, decked system, SmartCap, roof rack and awning to my Mojave. My guess is that I am running 500+ lbs over stock weight 100% of the time. Stock everything else except 35" tires on the stock wheels. I am not rock crawling, just easy to light moderate...
