I have wondered the same thing. Typically I just take off the top two front panels and put them on a blanket in the back of the truck under my bed cover and that’s about it. That way I don’t get stuck in the rain with out them.
Oh yea it’s a thing. Real bummer too. It was my favorite vehicle I’d owned. The lifters stick over time and chew the cam. If you go to the forums you will see all about it. If I’d have known I would have probably got the max life warranty or something from the dealer but I didn’t research enough.
I was living down there when they hired him. I’ll never forget everyone freaking out on the local sports station. Not a Clemson fan, but it was a crazy time.
Love the title of this. Makes me think about local sports talk Hey Mike, first time long time…. “who the hell is Dabo Sweeney?! We need a real coach if we are ever going to get back to glory at Clemson!” “So they are gonna go with this 6th round pick and dump drew Bledsoe? Same ol pats.”
sounds like the canyon was better than the Tacoma as well then. Haha. It was not a comfortable truck and I never did get used to the transmission. My jeep is averaging about 21 mpg and my taco averaged 18. For me it isn’t a jeep thing it’s that the gladiator just flat drives better and has more...
I get compliments on the regular myself. I also get a freaking ton of guys asking me on construction sites for work “how I like it?” And when I tell them I like it better than the Tacoma I had for three years you have to pick their jaws up off the floor. It’s pretty funny.
other than a V8 option coming out I’m good with my sport S in sarge green. There isn’t another color I’d want and I don’t have a major interest in the other packages.
They are having bidding wars at the docks over there to just get containers on the boats. We had some orders delayed for months because the exporter we order from kept getting out bid at the docks and couldn’t get our containers on. That’s in top of buying and shipping the shit to begin with...
I don’t know if he is cheaper than other dealers but I had originally called mopar and they had quoted me 4200 for a maxcare unlimited miles and Tom quoted me about 2000 less. I took everyone’s word and just went with him after that.
