We got lucky, they came OEM in my North package and Wife's Altitude package, very happy with both, does make a very nice difference in both temperature and sound (outside, and radio).
This. I leave mine naked for a few days at a time weather and where I have to go permitting, but she stays in the garage at night if she is topless or doorless.
I have Baja Squadrons on my a-pillar, my experience is the opposite, nothing feels cheap about them, especially the housing, and the wiring coming out of the light seems well sealed/insulated/moisture blocked. I especially love that I can change the lens on them if I so desire. I have amber...
The "bed rail" on the JT is higher then the JL. I notice it all the time with them sitting side by side in the garage. Essentially you'd come up short on the rear wall.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm wiling to wait and have it correct, rather then an insecure connection. Excess length I could care less about, that's easy to deal with. But a properly secured connection is a high priority on a vechile of this nature, as the tail could easily be submerged in...

Oh BTW, same here, I was able to pivot around the guide pin screw and in place. Took a little bit of wiggling and finagaling, but can be done.
Edit: Overland North with LED package, pnp pass through harness worked fine except for the passenger length needing an inch and having to take the tail...
Got mine in and working. Had to take the body side tail light connector off its mount, went as direct as humanly possible to the passenger side and it *just* connected but it's tight. When the extension comes I'm going to put it in so I can get the tail light plug back on its mount. Rather have...
