It is not a good deal. Most have been getting 5% below invoice long before the Covid challenges dealers are facing. You should be able to get a much better deal. I bought mine almost a year ago about a month after they were released for 5% below invoice.
My issue seems to be a little different. I don't even have the option to place or answer a call on the carplay or uconnect system when I am plugged into USB for Carplay. The phone speaker or headset is the only option for a call. Seems like somehow the carplay integration with the update is...
Same CarPlay issue for me. I can’t use the in car sound with a phone call when hooked up to CarPlay. Bluetooth works fine but CarPlay not so much. Also I done get audio announcements with CarPlay navigation. I took it to the dealer yesterday and got a reflash but issue still remains.
yes that’s dry and I carried two kayaks, 4 bikes and all our gear for a long weekend. The Jeep did great! And yes there are a number of decent hills out there.
Just towed my 4,700 lb 25’ Flagstaff with my Rubicon on 2.5” EVO lift and 35” Nitto Trail Grapplers through the Shenandoah mountains. Was my first tow since the lift. Towed great. Super stable and got 10-11 mpg. Overall I am happy with towing capability.
I just can’t understand these grills. The stock Jeep grill design is part of what makes the Jeep a Jeep. My understanding is the 7 slots stand for the continents Jeeps were used to help the US military. I have also heard it’s that the Jeep was the first vehicle to drive on 7 continents. Either...
mine are 35x12.5 but holding up great. I have used them for about 10k miles and a few trips rock crawling aired down to about 12 psi and they have performed flawlessly.
Agreed. It’s the width that matters for the rim and most 37s are the same 12.5 wide as a 35 which I have in my spare rim no prob. And the eel underneath appears to have plenty of room to fit the 37.
If it is death wobble it is typically trackbar related. I would recommend checking the front trackbar bolts and make sure they are tight and that the mounting holes aren’t ovaled out.
interesting. My Rubicon with the EVO 2.5” stage 2 plus and 25” Nitto Ridge Grapplers is taller than that from top or tire to bottom of fender. Grapplers have about 8k miles on them.
edit: I just realized the other was on a sport and mine has the taller rubicon fenders.
Front 9.75”
Rear 9.75”...
I’m happy with the power on mine. I was worried about it as I sold my wrangler and Hemi grand Cherokee to get it and am towing a nearly 5,000lb travel trailer behind it. While the Hemi pulled much better in hills, the Gladiator 3.6 does just fine and hasn’t struggled like I expected it to. The...
Agree that is super disappointing to hear. It really does sound like a lemon. I am at 18k without issue and have towed quite a bit and wheeled it hard along with a lot of miles all over VA, MD and PA.
