I am in Northern VA and everywhere I normally wheel is closed. I think we can maintain 6 feet in our vehicles so seems like a safe way to get out of the house for the fam. Anyone know of off-road trails that are open in the Ohio, WV, VA, MD, PA, NC area?
In the two towing pictures yes the front is higher than the rear due to tongue weight of the trailer. But no, in the pic with no trailer it is completely level. The truck is parked on a slope though.
probably varying degrees of impact and you may not notice the difference but just wanted to note that to be complete and feel 100% stock the kit needs to correct all geometry and component length. The kit would need front control arm correction and rear shock correction to be complete. The rear...
overall this is a mostly complete kit. It is spacers and extensions but is missing extensions for the rear shocks and doesn’t address the front control arms which will change your ride to make it feel more flighty due to the change to your front caster angle. To make this kit complete it would...
So one of your springs matches mine but the other has a lower number. Was your Jeep level side to side? I wonder if the 449 coil is intended for a non rubicon. My Jeep is a very early build date 4/19 and had a factory hard top. Not sure if either of those things change the spring they use or...
my dealer did the same thing saying I had to keep FCA financing for 6 months but I took their extra money off and refinanced with my own bank a few weeks after buying and had no issues.
Here are the springs that came off the rear of my Rubicon. They appear to be the same but do have different part numbers. I assume slight weight differences right and left. The EVO coils I replaced them with also had different part numbers for right vs left.
The biggest thing to look for in a lift is it being a complete kit. You want to have shocks that are the right length to fit the height of the new lift and you need it to include longer sway bar links, longer/adjustable track bars, bump stop extensions, longer brake lines and at least front...
You need to get over the worry and use it as the Jeep truck it is meant to be. Mine was drug over rocks in WV with 1000 miles on the odometer, got its first small ding at Rausch at about 5000 miles and continues to be used as a daily driver, off road weekender, travel trailer hauler, kid sports...
Do you mean a 2018 JL? Any JL bumper will fit a JT but only some JK bumpers fit the JT. If it’s a JK then you need to check the specific bumper because I have seen that not all will fit a JL/JT.
I am happy to meet part way. I am about 5 hours from Raleigh. And yes they will fit. Even better fit if you pickup the small spacer lift I am selling. 3/4” daystar spacers. Shoot me a PM to workout details if you are interested.
You may also be able to reach out to one of the lift companies like EVO, Metalcloak, Teraflex and see if they would sell you the part they include in their lifts.
