  1. 33x12.5R17 on OEM Wheels

I have heard this from numerous people, mostly from years ago. I have never been questioned or any shop refused to mount. I have used Discount Tire for my last two tire purchases, both were over the recommended width for the wheels they were being mounted. No questions asked.
  2. 33x12.5R17 on OEM Wheels

37x12.50x17 on stock wheels, no lift.
  3. Help, I've gone down the Rabbit Hole.

I believe the current inventory of Mopar Lifts come with Bilstein shocks. A better shock than Fox in my opinion.
  4. Jeepbeach 2025

@ScottBeach, good to meet you too. Glad we had the opportunity. I will pm you.
  5. Is off roading too easy nowadays?

I learned something today too. Setting proper toe on larger tires is not as simple as the Youtubers doing it in their driveway with a Lowe's tape measure make it out to be.
  6. Is off roading too easy nowadays?

Yes, it's gotten easier. Technology, both mechanical and virtual. The product coming off the assembly line is better. But also the information that is easy to obtain is better. I grew up running to the local Jiffy Store every month to buy the latest 4WD and Offroad magazine. That was how we got...
  7. OIL, 0-20 or otherwise (couldn't find the other oil threads)

Use what the owners manual tells you.
  8. When to use/not use 4x4? Overheating diffs, transfer cases etc.

To stay on subject. Jeep Beach/I was exiting the beach and found a 392 just coming onto the beach with his rear tires buried and sitting on his axle. The lifeguard was yelling at him through a megaphone to put it in 4WD. I got out and approached him and he said his Tazer must be glitzing and...
  9. Installed Infinity Reference 307’s in the dash

Yes. Replacing the knee panel speakers will offer very little, if any, sound quality. The dash speakers will overpower them. Dash should be the first thing you replace and then go to sound bar if needed.
  10. aftermarket steering stabilizer question

Your 23 should have the newer redesigned bolt, so yes, you would need the old version bolt. If you buy a Fox, it will come with a bolt you can use instead.
  11. My 1st Jeep! 2024 Gladiator Nighthawk

Nice Jeep, can't believe you got all that done in one day. You Rock!! Looks like a very nice neighborhood too!
  12. little clip from the sand

St. Augustine Beach trips I will carry my CO2 tank, I will not hesitate to air down so I don't end up on the internet. That sand is no joke.
  13. Hood Struts - $40!

I'm not the one that is saying that, I don't even have struts. Obviously @Gvsukids has a gap he probably didn't have prior to installing the struts. I just offered to look at mine to compare when I do install my struts, as we both have a Mojave.
  14. Best bed racks!?

I would be interested in seeing them when you get them mounted up.
  15. Best bed racks!?

    Rebel Off-Road Half Rack.
  16. Hood Struts - $40!

I do not have that much play in my Mojave hood when it is latched. Once my struts come in I will take note if I see any deviation.
  17. Clay bared and jet sealed.

This is my Dealer Add-ons from my JTM. I refused to pay for any of it and their battle plan was they can't take it off except the lug nuts. I was fixing to walk and they gave in. I had no idea what Permaplate was and googled it when I got home. Snake Oil for the most part. Funny thing is I had...
  18. OIL, 0-20 or otherwise (couldn't find the other oil threads)

Curious if you, or anyone, has tracked any gas mileage deviation or poorer performance upon switching to a thicker viscosity. As the majority of people have often claimed Jeep is only running 0W-20 to squeeze .0125 extra MPG to meet a certain CAFE milestone. How much data do we have to debunk...
  19. max tow or not ?

The current model of Tru-Lok is an open differential when not locked. Been this way since the JK. The TJ Rubicon (both air and electric) lockers were limited slip when not locked.
  20. Clay bared and jet sealed.

That Jet Seal product made you all take a left turn quick. Or maybe it was a right. I have never clay bar'd a vehicle. I read about it and watched some videos. I may try it one day.
