    At some point recharge stations will be nearly everywhere. New Mexico is installing 500 more using the recent bill past. The state will be funding 300 more. Also to compete apt complexes are beginning to install them as well. It’s just a matter of time.

    That timing will be about right for me. We have 6.24 kW rooftop solar so around town it will essentially be free.

    I agree. PHEVs are now. EVs are in the future sometime. My state doesn’t have enough chargers to go from one side of the state to the other.

    The Jeep CEO said that 50% in US by 2024 and 100% in EU. What models involved was not announced. There’s a link to the video and a long thread here somewhere.

    Yeah he said the oil light came on. Could the tech: 1) put the O ring on wrong; 2) over tightened the cap; or 3) both? It’s only supposed to be 20nm I think.

    I can’t imagine. In NM we don’t get much water. High desert. Dust and sand and lots of rocks. The CO trip was a nice change.
