I think I would install it, do the sleep cycles and stuff, and see if that fixes things. I'd probably also shoot off a msg to Z-Automotive to see if this is something they've encountered before. First I've heard of it. Might save someone else a headache down the road if that's all it takes.

You didn't mention a taser in your original post. That was the first thing I thought of, since that is such a common result of improper use of the taser that it's predominately mentioned in the user manual.

I'll point out that the JScan page does not list that adapter as recommended for the JT Gladiator. https://jscan.net/supported-and-not-supported-obd-adapters/ Not saying it wont work,or that's the problem. But means Jscan probably won't be much help.

That's the one I have, because it was the ONLY one recommended by both JSCAN and AlfaOBD for the JL/JT Jeeps.

Personally, if they are gonna steal 5 gal of gas from my Gladiator, I HOPE they siphon through the filler neck, because usually the way they get past a locking gas cap is to punch a hole in the gas tank, catch what they can, and let the rest hit the ground.
