I do not have a P/N - But most jeeps have that same BCM in the last 7-8 years. that one was from a grand Cherokee. All those wires in that BCM are female so for the other 1.2 male I had to order from mouser.
When I first bought it I said to myself 100% I need to get it reprogrammed and I'm pretty sure the dealership can do it. Once I put it in though I could care less. It's probably gonna be $100+ to get it done, will most likely put a hit on the carfax and I plan on keeping this till it dies. In...
Yeah the oracle ones grew on me and obviously I ordered them. If they went with a full LED they could just throw the disclaimer in there that these are meant for off road use only and let the consumer use their brain lol
That I do not.. I actually got the 2.8 pin from a used BCM I got off ebay. I lucked out and got a BCM from a grand Cherokee that had the harnesses and pins for like $30. I was too lazy to research pins and harness's lol
FYI this will also work if you happen to have picked up the oracle integrated rear bumper LEDs. No issues with it being wired into the BCM and you can use the fog light switch to turn them on/off
switched out the euro fog lights for Oracles bumper LEDs. They are still wired into the BCM so I can use the foglight button to activate them. I loved the red look of the euro fogs but they weren't as useful as I see these being.
Got mine in and they are briiiight! I have them wired into the BCM and use the fog light switch to activate them. Can't wait to throw them on when people use high beams behin.... I mean using them for reversing in dark areas
Was it a direct fit? or did you have to do some cutting and stuff
yep - direct fit and I swapped out the hooks and foglights it came with and put in the oem ones. Only thing that people have reported were that the winch plate it comes with is thin. They recommend getting an aftermarket one.
Thanks! loving the lift kit!
So I don't have lockers in yet, but yes they will be wired into those switches when the time comes. The export mirrors are tapped directly into my front DRLs. I actually have them set as running lights but either works. I plan on doing a small write up on themm...
Thanks!! I like to think its one of the best looking ? but you know everyone has different tastes. Like JTpoor was saying above your comment, working on the jeep and tinkering with it is one of the best parts of owning these!
1000% agree - I love the process and working on my own cars. I could never buy a car and not modify it (unless I was rich and got some super cars lol). But yeah, besides paint I did everything myself at home. Also good luck with your build! make sure to add it to your profile so I can come back...
Thanks! and paint/labor cost me $1100. I think if I paid with card it would've been like $1350-ish.... and yeah everything is nice and smooth, nothing that I have noticed as far as imperfections. The nice thing with the JT is that most of the roof is the top, so unlike the JL you don't have a...
So that was my original plan. I did sacrifice an oem rubicon switch panel to do it but got it on eBay for like $30. I tried using a latching switch and relay but turned out to be more work then I wanted. So currently the sway bar button is display only and I actually disconnect the sway with the...
It would depend on the lights I supposed but it makes sense, what you're saying. My lights stick out past the bracket so I wouldn't be able to put them down there. But if you get shorter lights, I don't see any problems.
