Slight change of plans for me. we are looking for a place to do some recreational target shooting. There looks like a place off split mountain Rd. Called Shoot Spot on BLM. If so, we may camp closer to Fish Creek area and the wind caves.
I’m planning on camping in the general area of the mud caves Saturday night. Sting Grey gladiator with a off road box trailer i converted. I you see me stop and say hello.
I owned a gasser for about 22k miles. Sold it and bought the diesel.
3.0
tows better. Torque is awesome. Sound great. Gas mileage and DEF to me is a wash
3.6
Doesn’t bottom out. Cheaper to own. Driving characteristics was more nimble.
You decide what makes more sense.

I have a tight garage to pull into every tie I park it at home. Slowly creeping in is my cool down. When I park away from home I just try to consciously let it sit Before shutting it down. I think that’s good enough.
Good ideas. I called for the service manager and was polite about it With the cashier. Still no call back. I may elevate tomorrow if I don’t get a call back.
something seems shady.
Took my truck in to get my first oil change at about 4900miles. It was the end of the day when I picked it up. They were working on it at 5:15 when I got dropped off. Not sure why but they didn’t give me any paperwork. I’m going to get into this with them today,
Anyway, there Is no visual sign...
Thanks. I thought the same thing And tried that and pumping the brakes. After a little more research it looks like the gauge sensor is not like a fuel tank. It has sensors in a few spots?
further research on older Jeep diesels suggest I need a reflash or a DEF tank replacement.
I hope not.
I’m concerned the electronic gremlins are going to shut my truck down. If my theory is correct, this will be my first real problem with the eco diesel.
Roughly 200 miles ago my truck gave me a warning that it will not start in 500 miles unless I add DEF. A few days ago I filled it up with...
Did your gauge reset on its own? Mine DEF tank is Full Full, a little spilled out after putting in 2 bottles. The gauge still says 1/4 full. I thought maybe after a few start cycles the computer would recognize the tank was full and reset to 100%
Doing some research on this. Got the 500 miles left message. I filled it up last night and ran through 4 start cycles. Still says 490 miles left and the gauge says 25% left. When will this reset to full? do I need to manually reset?
