  1. Cracked both rear sway bar end link mounts. Back plate? Weld?

Both of my rear sway bar end link mounts are cracked. The shop was suggesting possibly putting a plate on to be stronger than welding it. Or maybe there is a stronger bracket? What do you think? Backing plate? Weld the cracks?
  2. Best area lights for camping (rack mount)?

I want something that works well for general camp lights. Also will be used to light up the area when you hear those strange noises at night. They will be mounted on a full height bed rack. A remote would be cool but not necessary. I have seen a good option from Baja Designs. Any suggestions?
  3. Dang! Even Gorilla Glass wouldn't have helped with this rock to the windshield!

  4. Florida Sold: Free Rubicon takeoff suspension including front driveshaft and fox shocks.

It's just been sitting in my warehouse collecting dust. Free to someone who can pick it up and is going to use it, not resell it. Less than 2000 miles were put on it. Located in Sarasota, Florida. I'm not willing to ship. Must take it all. tt
  5. Gladiator on a tight Black Bear Pass switchback. Drone footage.

For those who want a good look at getting a Gladiator around a tight switchback on Black Bear Pass, here you go.
  6. Year one battle scars

Coming up on one year of Gladiator ownership. Three trips from Florida to Colorado and one to Moab as well as camping around Florida. I love this Jeep. Takes us across the country and through mountains pulling a camper and can still handle tough trails. I snapped a few pics of the first year...
  7. Shaker siphons to transfer fuel

I'm sure many of you guys do this already but I'll put it out here for those who haven't. If you have jerry cans or rotopax up on your rack you can leave them in place and transfer your fuel with a siphon. I've had to tap into my jerry cans a few times and found it a bit of a pain to move them...
  8. Bogging down and won't downshift in 4 low

In addition to the surging problems I am having in 4 low I also ran into issues trying to climb a steep mountain pass (Imogene). The Gladiator slowed down because the rpms were low. It was in 5th gear in 4 low. I tried to manually downshift the automatic but got a message saying that I could not...
  9. Extra B pillar padding?

When we are on the trails and my wife is filming she ends up hitting her head on the B pillar as we bounce around. Has anyone added some extra padding to the B pillar on the passenger side? How did you do it?
  10. Holy Cross City - Gladiator on 37s, two Wranglers on 35s. How do they compare?

This was a great time! Fun and challenging trail. My Gladiator did amazingly well.
  11. Surging while in 4 low only

After a hard day on the trail my gasser started surging when engaged in 4 low and moving. No problems in neutral. No problems in 4 high. Only when moving in 4 low. I have not tested it out again to see if it went away after cooling down. Any thoughts on what could cause that?
  12. Holy Cross short French Creek vid

I will post a longer version when I eventually get it edited to show how my Gladiator did (extremely well). For. ow here is a 30second clip a bystander took of my wife and I coming down a difficult line in French Creek. https://youtube.com/shorts/a0z_zh7Qupo?feature=share
  13. Badger LT

I am guessing this must have been posted before and I just can't find it. Cool Gladiator conversion for a mini-go anywhere-Earth Roamer. https://www.geo-cab.com/jeep-gladiator.html
  14. Hell's Gate

Got a little off line on this one and tipped a bit to the passenger side. You know you're doing it right when the spectators come running over! Had my son and his fiance in the back seat for this part of the trail.
  15. Cliff Hanger - one fender and some rocker dings.

This trail was a blast! It's a long day and you're gonna feel like you're tipping over half the time. That's bad enough without the cliffs! We started out by ourselves but ran into a group of Jeeps on the trail. Followed them up to the top so we could see lines that others took. These...
  16. Chicken Corners - Moab

Here's another vid from our recent Moab trip. Chicken Corners is a pretty easy trail, but the views are stunning. You go over Hurrah Pass and onto Chicken Corners. There are a few shelf road spots and a tight corner near a cliff. It's not that bad though. At the end there is a cool hike along a...
  17. Went on our side in Moab.

The Escalator obstacle on Hell's Revenge is tough enough but I forgot to put my lockers on! Ended up pretty much on our side. We were resting on the shovel and axe. Only took some fender damage on this one. Took some more fender damage and bumper dings on Cliff Hanger.
  18. Navigation stuck on Loading....

Just started on this trip. Every few times I start the Jeep and head out the navigation gets stuck on the loading screen. It's the big screen. I found a few related issues with search. Who else has had this problem and what was the resolution? I'd prefer not to have to use my phone and Google...
