Ironically, it's almost easier to go aftermarket with the Alpine system because of how many companies are supporting factory integration/bypass now. Literally a plug and play solution - if you really want to go that far.
I'm going that route in our 20 JT, but will probably mess around with the...
An excellent upgrade over the stock shocks for sure! After putting Rubicon wheels with factory 285/70R17 tires, could tell the ride was a little, "stiff" compared to the stock Sport 245/75R17. My wife made a comment about the Gladiator leaning in turns too, even compared to her JK Wrangler...
Thank you for the LASFIT recommendation. Those switchback fog lights are a really nice option. Especially for those that would like that yellow light option for fog and such, but don't want to drill into the factory bumper or pay a small fortune for additional brackets and lights.
Picked up Rubicon wheels and tires a week after bringing this 2020 Sport home. VERY happy so far. Added the front bumper, rock rails, and Fox shocks all from a Rubicon too.
Ordered some other items as well. Mostly audio pieces, but a few sticker/decal options to play around with. Want something unique (of course), but still kind of tasteful. Probably will add the Teraflex 1.5" spacer with shock extensions next, then we'll see how everything else unfolds from there...
A friend of mine suggested I look into at least getting the factory Fox Rubicon shocks to help smooth out the ride, and reduce body roll. And wouldn't you know it, scored those locally too!
What a difference they are compared to stock:
So, if you couldn't tell as they were laying there...
The next day after that though, found a set of Rubicon rock rails too - went and got those, and voila!
Also decided to try out the matching spare and see if it would work. Read conflicting information about whether it would or not, and confirmed - yes. A matching Wrangler aluminum wheel...
Immediately began browsing for sale adds on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, eBay, here, everywhere I could think of. Last Monday, scored a set of Rubicon wheels, tires, bumpers, and full suspension from a 2-door JL Wrangler. Used the wheels, tires, and front bumper, and sold the rest...
Recently acquired a 2020 Gladiator Sport about two weeks ago. We have a 16 Wrangler Sport Unlimited that is the wife's primary vehicle. Hydro Blue, she picked it out as a gift for getting her RN license, and loves that Jeep. We've taken it to the beach and to Uwharrie a few times. Mods are Pro...
I'm curious also. Grabbed some 2-door Rubicon Wrangler wheels recently and would like to paint them all black instead of having the machined finish spokes.
I have the APH-CH01 leftover from a 2019 Ram install, and just ordered the APH-CH03 harness because PAC Audio's website listed that as what works in the Gladiator.
Hopefully will be able to confirm which is the correct harness for everyone shortly.
Many thanks to JSPEED for posting this...
Ordered the dash pods and soundbar adapters yesterday after reading this thread. Thank you all for the help. Wasn't sure whether it was worth making my own adapters for each, but this makes it so much easier. And with the 6x9 grille having a much larger opening, can still make an adapter to use...
