That explains why the Raleigh 4WP store reopened as an Off Road Warehouse location 6 months after the 4WP store closed. (doesn't help me with my worthless warranty though)
From experience, you would be better off with a neoprene winch cover instead of a solid metal plate. Why you ask?
Well It is really helpful to be able to see the line when being respooled. The winch cover is removable, a plate is not so easily removed. I can barely see my line on my Apex 12K...
Wheel Pros overpaid for Trans American. Not as much as Polaris did but still overpaid for what they actually got.
They screwed me when they closed all the 4WP stores that were local and therefore invalidated the warranties I have on my axles (which I need to use for my rear locker in the JK).
A long flat blade screwdriver and a dental pick are your friends here.
In addition to a stiff drink or two, band aids and a plethora of colorful metaphors. It also helps to be a contortionist. Opening the doors fully (pull the cable and the door retainer will help give you enough room to get...
I like the concept, I hate the design. I just can't get over the fact it looks like you just stuck a light pod to the housing instead of integrating it better. I expect a more integrated/streamlined design for $430.
To me, the Collision avoidance system works seamlessly in my Rubicon. Saved my bacon once and that sold me. Similar to Wild Hobo, car pulled out without looking (driver texting) and although I reacted the truck was faster. No way I would have avoided it.
I also wouldn't have bought a truck with...
Extreme Terrain is blacklisted as far as I'm concerned. I have only had one order go well and that was my very first order back in 2016. After that, I have had quality issues, CS issues, shipping issues and mostly, lack of communications.
It seems like most here are the exception rather than...
I have heard of JK people with them and really had not heard anything bad except that felt they were slow. I have been really happy with the HF Apex 12K with synthetic rope. The one on my JK gets a lot of use on the trails, mostly rock. On a trail called White Whale at Kairos in WVA, needed it...
Today is the 1 year anniversary of me getting my Gladiator. It's been a great year and I enjoy every day I get to take it someplace, even if it's to the grocery store.
Like everyone has already said, If you are going hard core wheeling, buy the armor package. Mine don't see extreme wheeling so I don't have the armor and they take light hits fine. This weekend a friend who does stupid things in rocks (JKU with a hemi) took some serious hits on his (has the...
VOSwitch says fuse 52 and that's what I used for mine. The VOSwitch has the option of ignition switched or always on. I wouldn't be surprised if the Auxbeam ot Lasfit switch does too.
I have been happy with my stock Falken A/T's. I do like the KO2's. I ran them on my JK for several years both on and off road until I fell into a set of KM3's.
