Just saw this video where they use a normally-open magnetic reed switch as a kill switch.
Opens up new ways to hide a kill switch for a DIY install. Hide it behind a plastic dash panel or under the center console storage lid, i.e. lid must be opened to close circuit and start the Jeep. Just...
I contacted LoJack support, asking if it is possible to activate/subscribe to the LoJack device found. Here is their response:
"...we do not allow device transfer from one owner to the other nor from one vehicle to another. For those reasons, you would not be able to activate the device in...
I am cross-posting this from our sister JL sight:

I found a tracking device installed under my dash. I was looking for something else and noticed an odd bundle of wires zip-tied to the OBD port wires.
I followed the red & white wires coming out of this bundle and it led up to a device Velcro attached to an OEM component.
I googled it...

I'm switching from the 703 to the 701 wheel. Still a -12mm offset, but with a 4.62 backspace instead of 4.57. I called Method Racing, the lift vendor and my local 4x4 shop and they all said it should be fine with 37x12.5R17 tires. No expected rubbing on LCAs and clearing other suspension...
Crawl Daddy at Rausch Creek will take care of that. Especially if it is wet. Of course I tried it in a stock JT rubicon. Good thing i at least had extra armor under the rear. Should have had extra armor in the front also. LCAs, especially frame side, took some good hits. FWIW, a number of...
I have a Rubicon and these three links do a good job of showing the stance/tire poke with the Rubicon fenders. I also have the XR extended fender flares, so the amount of poke may look a little different for my JT.

I'm looking to get the Method 703 wheels (-12/4.57" Offset/Backspacing). My plan is to mount BFG KM3 37X12.50R17 tires on them, but any pic, regardless of tire would help before I pull the trigger.
Thanks
Have you measured the distance between the back of the hitch and the rear track bar? 38s may not fit in the spare location underneath, but wondering if some 37s might.
I found that the Rust-Oleum Hammered is perfect for the Rock Hard 4x4 Patriot Rock Sliders. Also, the Textured, as mentioned in this forum before, seems a perfect match for the Jeep Mopar steel bumpers. Just prep the surface using a 3M Scotch Brite Pad (Maroon). It is OK to leave light...
Got the winch and winch light hooked up to the solenoid/relay switch. Now just pressing the AUX3 button in the Jeep turns on power to the winch and its’ light. The light really helps with the Mopar OEM steel bumper since the winch is recessed. Here is the link to the light...
