I'm looking to get the Method 703 wheels (-12/4.57" Offset/Backspacing). My plan is to mount BFG KM3 37X12.50R17 tires on them, but any pic, regardless of tire would help before I pull the trigger.

Thanks

I've got different wheels with the same -12 offset on 37/12.5R18 Falken Wildpeaks. I like the more aggressive stance with them. Not the best angle, but they may give you an idea.

These are the Double standard 17s with 0 off set and BFG KO2s 12.50 x 37. Some poke but not bad.

Bob, good point, I didn't think about the fact that all that matters is if it is the same offset.

Custom Offset has a website with a gallery you can filter vehicle, tire size, lift and wheel offset.

Here's a pic of mine with 3.5" lift, 37's on some -12mm offset wheels.

I have a Rubicon and these three links do a good job of showing the stance/tire poke with the Rubicon fenders. I also have the XR extended fender flares, so the amount of poke may look a little different for my JT.

You don't need this much negative offset to fit these tires. I'm running 0/4.8" 703s with KO2 37x12.5R17s on a JTR with 2.5" Clayton Overland+ and they are already poking out.

I'm switching from the 703 to the 701 wheel. Still a -12mm offset, but with a 4.62 backspace instead of 4.57. I called Method Racing, the lift vendor and my local 4x4 shop and they all said it should be fine with 37x12.5R17 tires. No expected rubbing on LCAs and clearing other suspension components. The 4x4 shop will do a test fit with the new wheels before mounting the tires and after doing the lift.

BTW, here is a visual of the tire/wheel change:

Yhe more neg off set you have the more scrub there is and more stress on the ball joints.

I'm assuming you want the 17x9? This is going to put your tire considerably outside of the fender on a widetrack truck......If this is what you are looking for, cool.

If not, I would lean toward the 17x8.5 on the 0/4.8" offset to and end up with about 1" outside the fender, plenty of room for big resi shocks up front later if you desire, and minimize the scrub radius change from stock. The 17x8.5 is probably a better width for your 12.50 tire too.

17x8.5 on a 5.65 BS is also an option of you don't need the shock resi clearance and desire the tire to be even with the edge of the fender.

I personally run the 17x8.5 0/4.75 wheels on my truck for the best of all factors.
