Never had a problem. No different than the hinge on the door itself sitting against the hinge on the body when the door is on. I've had this set up for nearly 4 years now and take my doors off often. My son even uses them for his JL and never had that issue.
I swapped my sons JL Saharas headlights and fender DRLs to LED since unlike mine, the LeD lighting group was one of the only things his didn't come with.
for the fender DRL we went with the Morimoto XBs. They're legit. Did a little overview video of them on my YT channel as well.
As the title reads, I have (2) AEV Procal Snap Programmers for any Jeep JL/JT. Brand new in box never installed. Both come with included harness.
Recently upgraded both my JT and my son's JL with separate AEV lifts which come with these included. Both Jeeps already had Tazer JL Mini programmers...
Whatever floats ones boat. I'm sure they'd help.
My whole point on the flares is mainly the idea that most people buy aftermarket wheels(and tire sizes) for besides the look, but also with an offset that allows varying amounts of poke (intentionally). Thats practically one of the main reason...
This is me currently. But eh. I'm definitely getting Armorlite in the near future. Actually, it will likely be the next thing I buy for the Jeep. But as of recently I've spent a lot. So need to chill for a little while before I upset the wife.
Ok so then it sounds like your 5100s aren't the same in this kit. Which I wasn't aware. Hmm. I get not being a fan of shock extensions. But at the same time although it's a different kit, AEV themselves have stock extensions for the front and rears of their 2" spacer lift which had before the...
Lol. Oh I get it for sure. Not sure if yours are different. But since you mentioned already having the Bilstein 5100s(which I also love) But the ones in this kit with AEV are specifically tuned to the JLs/JTs. So to maybe save you a little money, you could always purchase the rest of the...
Sorry should have been more specififc. What he asked or what I assume he was asking, is if after installing, would you need a front adjustable track bar to help center back the axle.
In this particular kit, I was saying no you dont need an additional adjustable track bar for the front. Its not...
Yup went with the standard springs. Even the standard, accounts for up to 400 lbs of additional weight (primarily those with steel bumpers, winches, etc). Spoke to AEV numerous times on this since I do have a steel bumper and winch. Per AEV, the only need for the high capacity springs are...
