  1. Fuel Filter Relocate

I figured I would break this topic out as a new thread since the original post where this was talked about went a different direction. Thanks to @Wat Dog for posting this https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/fuel-filter-upgrade-maybe-possible.105240/page-2#post-1697924 I followed...
  2. More Soot with EGR deactive?

If one was to do a sniff test (aka dyno roller with sniffer up tail pipe) for smoke opacity only, no OBDII reads, would disabling the EGR system cause more soot creation? DPF and SCR remain active.
  3. 2LO - installed

2Lo installed, granted it's not the conventional type that involves modifying the Transfer case or going twin stick. This is a simple electronic mod that overrides the FAD disconnect and prevents the FAD from engaging the axle shaft half's. It basically tricks the computer. I am not the first...

Anyone know what and where this goes? Did a tie rod and draglink swap (with tires off) and as I was pickup tools I had piled on my creeper this little guy showed up to the party. I don't recall removing him or even picking him up to put on my creeper. For the life of me i can't figure out if...
  5. 4WD interlock detent bypass?

Has anyone had their transfer case/shifter linkage removed and noticed how the 4wd shifter nanny detent works? I assume there is some solenoid that actuates to prevent you from shifting into 4L under certain conditions or vise versa, preventing you from shifting out of 4L when on uneven ground...
  6. Thoughts on HP fuel pump CP4 Cover

I am the kind of person that doesn't like things hidden. I don't like engine covers ect, they hide issues. With that said, the high pressure CP4 pump has one hellva fiberglass cover and insulation over it. My first thought is that it is all there for sound reduction. Did a little digging and...

  9. Wind shield dimensions?

Just thinking out of the box here but anyone have any windshield dimensions for a JT/JL? I ask cause i had the crazy thought of seeing if a old windshield from a yj or something might fit. I am thinking the old windshields have thicker glass panes and less resistant to chipping and cracking...

  11. Water Proof Cable Gland for Topper?

Any one have any recommendations for a water proof cable gland? My plan is to pull power from trailer harness and install a switch in the...
  12. Does the OEM LED lights get hot enough to melt snow?

This just occurred to me, a desert rat. The other day i drove a rental sedan with LED lights into a snow storm and was disappointed that the lights would get snowed over, where in the old days the halogen head lamps were hot enough to keep build up at bay. I haven't had the pleasure of taking...

Any other fellow oil burners runnin a Pedal monster and using a android product to control it? If so can you confirm if your active safety reverse is activated? Rumor has it, it works on apple products (at least for the 3.6 crowd)
  18. Go to Source for Winch Power cable size?

Combing the internet and can't seem to find any consensus on what size power cable to use for my winch. Got a Warn XD9000 which has a max draw of 478 amp per their chart. Seems like I need less the 4 feet for upfront, which means i could go a touch smaller? maybe 4ga or 1/0? Also want to run...

  20. Front bumper with integrated receiver

Here are a few photos of my efforts adapting a cavfab bumper to accept a 2" receiver tube for a removable winch. I can get my hand between the skid plate and the bumper and fit a hitch pin in place fairly easy while avoiding the fog lights. SO no complicated spring load pin system should be...
