What are yall paying to have your 3.0 tuned and deleted? Got a quote of 4k+ "depending", lol. The depending part was whether the lower bolts on the egr break off and cab has to be pulled to access them. This was for tune, egr delete (just capped and not actually removed), delete pipe, and labor...
Only other experience with diesels is with the Superdutys I've had. Can the 3.0 be tuned and EGR/DEF deleted while leaving egr unit in tact? Looking at a 3.0, and absolutely do not want to deal with piss in a jug or regen. Have been researching tuners, and have noted a few from reviews on here...
My son and I dropped my JTR off at AMW this past Monday for a 426 swap. I have ran a magnusson on it for 3 years, and around 10k flawless miles thanks to Dave on here with dialing the tune in perfectly. I was ready for more, and something that I did not have to fret everytime I climbed north of...
Had to send one of my baja design squadron fogs in for warranty repair, and upon re-install, both lights come on for 2-3 seconds, go out for 6-8 seconds, comes back on for 2-3, go out again and repeats this 3x before going out all together until the jeep is shut off and turned back on. Upon...
Decided that I am going to do a hemi swap, and debating on whether to take the magnuson off and deal with the hassles of selling (and returning to stock), or just take the hit on it with the engine credit. Have looked around marketplace, here, and JL forums, not many out there. Thoughts?
I am posting this up (with permission from mods), and will keep it short, but a friend, Jeep shop owner, and avid jeeper here in WV had a horrible accident this past weekend and had to life flighted out of the trail due to his injuries. He is my go to Jeep mechanic and owns/operates a small Jeep...
I am about to be new to the mojave line, all my other JL's and JT are rubicons, but getting ready to trade our JLUR in on a mojave.
Question is, are the shocks worth keeping with plans on lifting and using extensions? The truck will be for my son, so will be 99.9% on road, and I'm sure the...
Looking at buying an 8.4 that my friend took out of his JTR. Will I have any issues with everything working in my 2018 JLUR?
I read that the JL 8.4 does not work with the back up in camera in the JT, but have not found anything, about a JT 8.4 being used in a JL?
Any info is appreciated!!
What's your thoughts if so?
Just installed mine on Friday. Would have preferred touring, but none were in stock, and read some reviews that it was barely louder than stock.
After some miles, it has a nice low tone, zero drone inside for in town driving. Slightest little bit of drone on the...
19k miles, jeep has been flawless. After sitting for a week, I got cel, idles around 1800-2k rpm, auto start/stop unavailable. Jeep runs fine apart from the 1800+ rpm idle.
I have a P1400 and P0507 code.
2020 JTR.
Just want to publicly say thanks to Dave for this update! My JT runs as smooth as stock, better low end zip it feels! Only have way through my first tank on this update, but mpg seems to be better than the last update.
Anyone else done this update yet, and thoughts?
Anyone here have experience with one?
We just sold our 5th wheel, while nice and roomy, it was a PITA, and there are many parks we can't go too that we like bc the spots aren't large enough.
The opus 15 is a bit extreme for our needs right now, as far as off road capability, but I like having...
Just checking to see what most of yall are seeing for coolant temp? I only have a few hundred miles on mine, and seems I have to add a little bit of coolant to hit the line after a few drives, which was expected.
What concerned me a bit today, was today was the warmest day I have driven it, 51...
Posting this for a friend…
2021 JTR, 7600 miles. Professional installed ceramic coating, never seen mud and rarely rain. No dents or scratches. Still under factory warranty along with Jeep Wave program, Fuel 22x13 wheels on 37 tires, 3 inch JKS lift, Rough Country Front Bumper w/LED light bar...
Who all has upgraded from the 2.0 to 2.5? Pros/Cons?
I think the 2.0 I have ride really well, even slightly too soft for high speed turns and body roll.
How would the 2.5 do for daily driving on sh!tty WV roads? The problem with these roads is what are like "mini speed bumps" everywhere! Not to...
Replaced my 37x12.50 km3’s.
Nice and quiet, ride nice and look great. They seem to work well with 5:13s, and the truck operates in a better rpm range than the 37’s, which really measured 35”. Might as well say the BFG runs about 2” smaller than advertised, lol.
Just installed them yesterday. Install was a breeze, and they look great, and add a ton of light! Very happy with them.
Started to order the tails as well, but gonna wait til they get the bugs worked out.
Love the reverse lights tho! That's all, carry on...
