Last Monday after work I was driving from a stop sign at a very low acceleration. Low RPMs, and very light throttle And second and third gear felt a surging. At first, I thought it was a misfire, tried it in manual shift mode, and it still happened. It felt like the transmission stopped putting...
ESC contantly lit now with the ESS not working. Lights come on now consistently within 1 minute from starting the vehicle.
Started Tuesday. Diagnosed Wednesday. Parts on order are Power Brake Booster, vacuum hose, and the brake booster vacuum hose. Should be in next week.
They said it's...
ON my 2014 Wrangler I had the original standard (vinyl) top. And loved it. Later on a switched to the Premium top and regretted it. Seemed looser to me.
I do imagine the Premium top will last longer, however, I'm curious if someone has experience with both on the Gladiator? Anyone...
This came off of my 2022 jeep gladiator that I purchased new 11 months ago. The top left corner of the tailgate has light damage from my mailbox. With light bodywork could be good as new. Comes with top tailgate plastic cap and the Jeep logo. You would have to transfer your internals to this and...
Wanting to get off road more, But my Gladiator isn't crazy built. I have a 2.5 SST lift which gives me 2.5 in the front and 2 in the rear. Additionally I have 35 inch Duratracs and Apex Autolynx in the mail to me. My local terrain isn't too crazy, I'm in the North Georgia area.
Anyways, my...
Buddys 2020 3.6 automatic Rubicon with approx 70k miles.. He bought it with around 64k miles..
He said once or twice early on he had what he thought was a misfire. Then more recently (6 weeks ago) he had the engine light and a temp increase (overheated somewhat). They replaced the even...
My subject line might be stated incorrectly. But curious, today is the first time in many months that I’ve hooked my Gladiator up to the Jscan. I was reading for misfires, and it seems way less than normal. Normally, I have many misfires of cylinder three in today none. I’ll post two examples...
Using the Jscan earlier, we changed the tire size from 33.03 to 34.75 For 35’s. Now the auto collision braking light is on. Coworkers 2020 Rubicon JT Auto.
NORMAL? WHAT IS THE FIX? CAN WE CHANGE THE TIRES BACK TO 33 TO eliminate THE LIGHT?
sorry for caps…
Just the nature of this particular transmission. And very likely some "wonky" Jeep/Chrysler tuning..
An example.. I was driving from Atlanta to Destin the other day and traffic downtown ATL got crazy. Stop. Go. Gas hard. abrupt on/off throttle. Stop hard. etc... for a good 30 minutes...
Almost 3000 miles and wanted to check my fluid levels. Rear was a little lower than the front as you can see in the pictures. Should I too them up or is this plenty?
also, shouldn’t the rear plug have a magnet?
I have a Sport Max Tow. I have a ReadyLift 2.5 SST kit I have not put on yet. Not 100%, but leaning towards KO2's in 37's.
Not interested in how the kit works for Rubicons/Mojaves..
For those with Sports... how is the rake? Does it look decent? What did the kit really measure out at on...
Just got in my 22 gladiator with the 7 inch radio. Gladiator had been sitting off for about four hours. Got in, plugged in my phone, and it continue to play what was playing hours earlier. StartStop button was lit up off, and the radio display was solid black.
Is this normal? Or welcome music...
Is the "plug" the part that looks like it need a square tool to loosen up?
If so, what size?
Lastly, to check diff oil level just unscrew and make sure level comes to the fill hole?
Kind of all over the place.. I know I want 35's or 37's.. I know if I do 37's I'll do the smaller KO2's.. I tend to like a lowish COG however, with the Gladiators long wheel bast I do want some height.. Yep, like I said, all over the place. For the time being stock Sport wheels with 1.75...
First time I've used this for more than a few minutes...
The readings here are about 4 miles city and 9 miles highway.. 22 minutes of drive time.. Cylinder three is the anamoly... Cylinder three rang up 17 misfires instantly and early in the drive however when I got rpm's up to pass a...
New Gladiator. 5 days old. Love it.
Curious about a sound it makes... Hard to explain, after starting the engine you'll hear a harmonic/frequency type of sound that comes and goes, Pulses in a rhythm.. Very Quiet. I can hear it near the center area of the vehicle neat the dash. It...
$8,500 or more off MSRP... It's on the lot. It's a 2022. Ask for Wes the sales manager. Tell him Robert send ya.. Ginn Jeep in Covington.
Don't work there, just bought a whitee one Wednesday.
Looking at possibly purchasing this Sport S. It was not dealer traded in. Has 190 miles on it. It has this glue/residue under the drivers side sill. Part of it looks like "possible" remnants of duct or painters tape. Hoping it did not have any paint work. None of the many other Jeeps on...
