Vivid did not charge me (yet). Vivid expects Magnuson to reimburse them for the cost -- which I think was about $300. If Magnuson won't do that, then I owe Vivid.

I don't have numbers -- no dyno was done. The sudden jump in first gear is gone and the rather abrupt shifts are gone. There is power throughout the rev range and a definite increase in smoothly applied power in the lower rpm ranges. It just drives *much* better all around.

Vivid Racing downloaded the latest Magnuson tune to my JT. Much smoother operation. The twitchiness is gone. The shifts are smoother and no longer abrupt. Very happy with this updated tune.

I have had my Magnuson supercharger for maybe 6 months and like it overall quite well. I will have the updated Magnuson tune downloaded into my JT tomorrow afternoon. I'll report back.

If the rear axle does have to be replaced, and if I have to pay for it myself -- I might want to skip OEM and go aftermarket for something stronger? Suggestions as to my options for aftermarket rear axel for a JT Rubicon?

I also posted in the JL Forum and what I hear there is that there is no replacement for the rear sensor itself -- the entire rear axle must be replaced. Oh boy. I have a supercharger and I can foresee the jeep service dpt telling me that the add'l horsepower/torque is the source of the problem...

The intercooler, radiator and AC condenser are very very close together. On my install, we found out the hard way that a bracket securing one of the intercooler hoses started rubbing against the AC condenser and, after about a week, no more air conditioning. Bear that in mind when installing...
