Yes, I did reach out to Kent directly. Some other fellow responded last. Haven’t heard back since. But it was Kent’s email.
I’ll email again if I don’t hear back from him in a few days. Thanks for the response.
Has anyone ordered from these guys recently? They are closer to me than Gupton. Can’t get a response from them, unfortunately.
Are they still doing ~8% below invoice pricing?
For those of you that have owned or own both, is there any noticeable difference in the rear seat room between the two? I know according to the specs, there is none. But with other manufacturers, SUV counterparts always *felt* bigger in the back. Maybe it was the open air behind you vs a window...
While I agree one should honor their part of the contract, if I were the dealer, getting a vehicle in that is selling like hot cakes---as long as they are made whole from another buyer coming in, I would give the money back. Especially looking to the future for more business from the customer.
Thanks. We’ve had big seats like that but since our 2nd kid, we switched to Diono’s, which are much slimmer. I think it will work. We will have to go to a dealership to test it out.
I’ve got 3 young kids. One in booster, one rear facing and one 10 year old (no car seat). Wondering how comfortable they will be. I’ve never had a Wrangler.
Anyone in similar situation? Anyone been on a long road trip with 3 kids?
What's the big deal about carrying plywood? This is mentioned quite a bit. Are there really that many contractors on this site? If you need to haul lumber, just rent a trailer for $20 at uhaul.
Yup, 3 dealers confirmed base model cannot be ordered at this time. Guessing they will open it up little later this year. I am fine with waiting for a Sport/6MT.
That is a shame! Given the heritage of Jeeps and the military, it seems so inappropriate. Doesn't make any sense. Hope FCA changes this.
Thanks to all military members for their service. If anyone deserves a discount here, it's you folks.
I've had and currently have a Tacoma Off Road. For what you're doing, any 4WD or even a Subaru would do just fine. Don't get caught up on all the off-road gizmos. I ran some tough trails in the Tacoma without having to engage the locker or ATRAC. Just good ol' Low Range and good set of...
I doubt it would show up unless it's an order. I've been waiting, too, but nothing on the radar. You could, of course, test a JL manual, since they're essentially the same thing.
Still no base Sport available to order (with manual).
Seems like an odd comparison. Jeep never marketed the Wrangler/Gladiator as a HD hauler or towing monster. It's a play toy/lifestyle truck. You can drive it around easier on a daily basis, do some Home Depot runs, and then go out and hit the trails on the weekends.
Looks like you've got...
