I have 37 nitto ridge grapplers and a Mopar 2 inch lift I had dealer install. Nitto calculated 30 psi to be ideal fill pressure. I’ve noticed when it gets cold and pressure drops to 28, I have substantial wheel wobble, possibly death wobble, when I hit small potholes. It completely goes away...
I’ve got rubicon suspension takeoffs and steering stabilizer for sale less than 50 miles. $350 plus shipping. Also the rock rails for $100, but probably can’t ship. I’m in Huntsville,AL if you want to pick up.
Thanks for the parts list! That’s a big help. I think they installed everything except the shocks. I thought I could trust the dealer to do it right. Very strange.
I had the dealer install Mopar 2” lift. I noticed today that the shocks on vehicle were still factory shocks. I called service manager at dealership and he told me he would get to the bottom of it. I got a call back from service department and they told me they installed everything from the...
$1200 for a set of 5 tires and 4 wheels without TPMS sensors that are brand new as I had dealer put 37s and black rhino armory wheels on gladiator before I picked up vehicle. The tires aren’t mounted because dealer exchanged the tpms sensors. Located in Huntsville, AL and must be able to pick...
I had my RSE step sliders installed by my dealership and one of the steps doesn’t fully retract as shown. I asked the dealership mechanic and he said he has seen this on at least one side for all the other 4 installs he’s done and he doesn’t know how to adjust. Does anyone know if you can...
Neither Hawk LTS nor EBC websites have gladiators as an option for ordering pads. Is there another brake pad equivalent, such as Ram 1500, or will I have to wait until they make pads specifically for a gladiator?
Thanks for all the useful information. My plan is to test my stopping power after my build is complete with factory pads. If any concern, I will try some different pads and I’m leaning towards
Hawk LTS. If that doesn’t allow me to stop on a dime, I will get upgraded brake system. This is...
Does anyone know if the JT’s got a brake upgrade from the JL’s? I’m going to put 37’s with Black Rhino armory and I’m trying to decide if I will need a brake upgrade. I would feel better about not doing the upgrade if the rubicon gladiators already had better brakes than rubicon JL.
I know someone posted earlier that they fit a Nitto Ridge Grappler 37 inch spare tire under their gladiator aired up. Anyone else been able to do that with that brand or any other?
The bolt rusting issue is supposedly solved with a new coating they are doing. The new version should be available in 2-4 weeks after making it through customs. I’m more concerned about the 40 lb wheel weight and how that will affect braking.
I’m going to put 37’s on my JT when it arrives at dealership in a few weeks and was planning on also doing the 18 in black rhino armory wheels. After talking to discount tire, i’m having some second thoughts on wheel choice. They said they have seen some issues with warped rotors on a Toyota...
I am planning on putting a 2 in mopar lift and 37s on my gladiator. I’m also considering a cold air intake upgrade to regain some of the lost HP and torque with my 37s. Anyone with any experience with this? Could you tell a noticeable difference with the upgrade?
