Anyone know of something like this for 2020 JT? Would like to use them on my front fenders. I go doors off a lot and tires are offset so would love more coverage.
Example...
So my truck bed lights I thought would turn on when I open the tailgate, much like when you open a door, but they don't. The only turn on if I hit the key fob unlock which is a hassle if I am loading at night.
Is there a way to change this behavior? If not any easy DIY solutions, key word easy...
I bought the Mopar OEM soft top finally. It is easy to install, and with only 4 torx bolts I can remove it myself and it lays easily in my bed (I have a cover) if I want complete open air.
Like you I generally avoid thumb screws and just keep a driver under the back seat with my torx bits. But I love this idea. Can you safely put this in the truck bed (with a cover)? Thinking great to have it off but if weather takes a turn you can put it on in no time
This is AWESOME. Still working as expected and holding up? Any chance you can show a pic of how much bed space this takes up when it's off? Really thinking of getting soft top after 3 years of hard top but hate the man bun 😂
I gave up. Install was a PITA and I realized midway thru there was zero chance I wanted to take it off/on 2x/year let alone deal with the hassle of rigging it to fold all the way up. Disappointed but moving on.
That's exactly what he told me. And he said the straps they have aren't enough to hold that down for driving but you could do it. So I'm ordering some black ratchet straps and planning to give it a whirl. Need to see how it folds to make sure the wind won't rip it off but I have some ideas 🙏🤞🏼
There is one picture on their website of it Totally open but it's really impossible to tell until I get it in hand. So I'm just going to roll the dice because at the price point it would be exactly what I'm looking for. I've hunted everywhere for more detailed videos or pictures or anything and...
Yeah I had a really good conversation with a manufacturer product technician refer back to my original post. You will see the summary but the net is: There is a way to do this safely. You just assume liability...
Thanks. Definitely let us know.
I got in touch with a technician at the manufacturer (Bruce). I called the 800# on RR site and they ultimately gave me direct phone # to the Mfg and after brief discussion that lady sent me to a product technician.
He explained that while they did not include...
Correct it wasn't cable.
I did a reset on UCONNECT I found online withiut having to get into fuse box and it worked:
1. Press push button start until you are in either ACC or RUN. Do not turn the vehicle on.
2. Hold down Green Phone button & Voice Recognition button at the same time. Hold for...
This is my issue. I'm convinced because I'm getting the error now even with nothing plugged in. Which fuse or fuses shouldI pull for 2020 Jeep Gladiator? I looked at fuse map and I'm lost not my expertise..thanks
