Replace the usb cable. Throw out the 99cent amazon/gas station cable. Had this issue. Cheap cable. Replaced and solved.
The latest poster about this is getting it with NO device connected, so it's not a cable.

This is my issue. I'm convinced because I'm getting the error now even with nothing plugged in. Which fuse or fuses shouldI pull for 2020 Jeep Gladiator? I looked at fuse map and I'm lost not my expertise..thanks
Can't be a cable if there's nothing plugged in. I've heard of this before - the message popping up with nothing plugged in. Took a radio reset to fix it.

Correct it wasn't cable.
I did a reset on UCONNECT I found online withiut having to get into fuse box and it worked:

1. Press push button start until you are in either ACC or RUN. Do not turn the vehicle on.
2. Hold down Green Phone button & Voice Recognition button at the same time. Hold for 30 seconds ( for me it worked if it pressed the phone button a split second before touching the voice button. If I pressed the voice button first the system would ramble on about commands ). After 30 seconds let go.
3. Turn the car off, immediately open the drivers door. Hold it open for 30 seconds.
4. Close the door and turn the car on, see if the issue is still there.
