At most you might expect your MPG to improve by 0.00006% due to your wallet being lighter. It's nothing but modern day snake oil.

I don’t have one installed. Was just inquiring before I got one. Was really concerned about causing problems with the electronics in the vehicle.

At best, it will do nothing. At worse, it could cause problems (it's a cheap piece of e-waste, do you really think they care whether it catches on fire or not?).

If a simple external device could improve fuel efficiency by 30% to 55%, car manufacturers would already be using it.

They are not.
Doesn't get any simpler than that: manufacturers have nothing to gain and everything to lose by arbitrarily retarding gas mileage. There are fleet targets/mandates in place that are constantly being raised.

I have found that at least 32psi in HT 31.6ā€ stock tires, with a very light right foot, will make all the difference in the mileage. Unless you’re wanting to get the most mileage, by using the manual shift mode, to upshift early without lugging the engine. If you pay attention to the instant mileage graft, while keeping your foot no further in than 1/4 throttle and the graft no lower that at the half way point will get you the most mileage. With premium 93 I was able to maintain a life’s average just over 20 mpg, with the best at 62 mph of 24 mpg. Using regular Top Tier gas 87 only will average around 18/19 mpg life’s average or 22 at 62 mph. That’s at central Florida elevation of 50-70’. With the tires at 40 psi the mileage will go up 1-2 mpg, but I’ll feel every pebble in the road, plus’s hear some strange vibrations from various areas.
