I forgot all about this thread. I put a MC 3.5 lift and finally put my 37's on a few months ago. No complaints about either. Did well on our trip to Moab
I've thought about doing something similar. I'd probably only use the cap a few times a year as well. I like the Aluminum ones because they're light, and would be easy to modify
I live near Cincinnati. It'll be I-74, to I-70 all the way. It'll be an exciting trip for my family, because we've never seen the Rockies, plus this will be the longest road trip we've ever taken
Looks like an awesome trip. I looking forward to seeing the next video. We will be heading out to Moab in a couple months for the first time. We'll be coming from OH, and we'll do similar stop about halfway, somewhere in KS
Those Kenda RT's are great tires. They did awesome in all weather conditions. I had the 35x10.5 on mine with 4.10 gears. The only downside is they picked up a lot of rocks
The sunrider is slightly louder closed than the freedom panels. I just swapped my Sunrider on a few days ago. Having the rear window open helps a lot with air flow and wind noise. Buying one is a no brainer you can open it in seconds without leaving the driver's seat
Why offer a 392 Wrangler and not a Gladiator? We all know the V8 is going away, and is old technology. The Wrangler and Gladiator themselves is old technology full frame, solid axle vehicles, shaped like a brick
Jeep needs to offer an Xtreme Recon package for the Gladiator. Honestly most of the parts are the same as a Wrangler.... So what is the hold up?
Not offering a V8 in one is also a missed opportunity, especially since the same company put a V8 in a Dakota 30 years ago
I was going to originally get a bronco reservation and get in the Granger deal, but decided against it. I like how you can get a base model with the Sasquatch package. I probably would have gotten my bronco in 4 years instead of the 4 weeks it took after I ordered my Jeep through Gupton
Hopefully some good competition will push Jeep to offer better options on the Gladiator. They've already stiffed us on a V8 and an Xtreme Recon package.....
I used my Select-Trac on the way to work this morning. It's a great option to have, especially when road conditions vary. Another reason to order one, plus dealers like Gupton that offer under invoice pricing make it a no brainer
Buy a TJ or LJ for a spare vehicle that your wife can drive, but still have some sort a sensible 4 door daily driver for her. A two door Jeep with a two year old flat out sucks. My kids still love my TJ, but having to buckle them in the car seats is rough with the top on
I recommend watching Home Improvement and making the grunting sound while chanting MORE POWER.
I wish Jeep would make a v8 gladiator. I think it's a huge swing and a miss that they didn't. Give us a stripped down muscle version. A stripped down sport with crank windows and a soft top, but a...
