My drivers side proimity just stopped work a few weeks ago and I have not had the doors off at all this year. Its been too rainy here. Its 3 years old and the key fob still works so I will just roll with it, unless there is a good answer out there.
The trails for the Invasion were on private property it was called 1000 Acre Ranch, I dont think they allow off road access except for events. That was the only time I took if off road so I dont know any trail heads. Check out 518 Jeepin and Upstate NY Jeep Club on facebook. They have some...
Good news I spoke to a couple of friends in the insurance industry last night. They all said that there is no statute of limitations for filing a claim. As long as I haven't had any other incidents or been offroading with it since the accident, it should be covered by their insurance.
Well it turns out I have a cracked front axle. A woman turned left into my front left tire a few months ago and I thought it was just bumper damage. They paid for a new bumper out of pocket and we never reported it to the insurance company.
Now I have to get the police report and go through my...
Took it out to a Jeep Invasion in Lake George NY. Stuck to the Blue trails which were not that challenging, but more than dirt roads. The hardest part of the trail was making some of the tight turns.
2020 Rubicon 34K miles
Last week I was flipping through the dash screens and noticed that the Offroad page was showing that my front and rear axels were showing that they were locked, during normal driving operation. I tried hitting the button to unlock all and the light just flashed. Then I...
JCR Offroad Crusader bumper finally arrived on Wed and I got it installed today. I am still waiting for the skid plate to be delivered. Currently trying to decide if I want to pull the trigger on the Badlands 12k winch. It's on sale for $349 today.
While I had the bumpers off I installed the...
Unfortunately no, they are not paying for the bumper. I felt bad asking them for the skid plate too, and figured asking for the winch would just be taking advantage of them. I will get the winch on my own.
A nice young lady decide to make a left turn as I was going straight through a green light yesterday and took out my stock plastic bumper. They are willing to buy me whatever bumper I want if I don't report it to their insurance company. It was a low speed inplact as we were both the first cars...
Stolen. They were registered at the hotel, had rooms booked on both ends of the vacation, and paid the $30/day parking fee. He did call the tow company just to be sure it wasn't towed by accident, tow company did not have it.
A friend of mine parked his brand new Mojave at a Hilton Hotel in Newark NJ while he went on a week long trip. Came back to find out his truck had been stolen. The Uconnect app and GPS says the truck is still in the parking lot. Sounds like a professional job to me.
I am in the same boat. Except I dont get distracted when walking into HD. I normally buy the wrong thing, or cobination of things and then have to make 2 or more trips to get the correct thing.
LOL it does
I plan to get in there and drop them a bit. I don't like being flashed, but I do love how bright they are now and I can actually see on the back roads.
I installed a set of LED headlights from Headlight revolution and had no issues. Except that I am getting glashed now. While installing I checked to make sure the cutoff line was the same in the halogen as LED and I am still getting flashed.
I always lock my vehicles, under the mind set of keeping honest people honest. If they break a window to get into it, that's what I have insurance for. I used to make a habit of locking my exes vechicle also. One day she asked me why I always lock her car. I told her that there had been some...
Purchased July 2020, 26K miles, trailer towing, multiple trips from NY to Maine, 1 trip to SC. The only issue I had was the steering TSB, that was fixed within 2 weeks.
