I know I want a full width for protection and possible winch. I also know I don't want an extra 100 pounds up there so aluminum will have to be the one. So far Rock Hard is the winner. But that thing will be $1500 at the door. I just did a build of it with shipping and tax, almost $2K!!! Might have to look at other options. That's just a little bit much.

Look at the Northridge4X4, they offer free shipping. That's who I used.

How important is it to get one with a low mount winch mount. The flat tops can be found easier and can still mount a winch.

If you have a diesel. It's best to have a low mount because of air flow to the radiator.

Little fender bender yesterday. Less than 5mph.
Lady in front of me turning left, gets out in roadway and stops. I look to my right to see if oncoming traffic and hit her. No airbags, no injury.

Fishbone bumper:

Need to get flat black crinkle paint. No bend, no dent, no damage. Just a little powder coat flaked off. Solid bumper.

A nice young lady decide to make a left turn as I was going straight through a green light yesterday and took out my stock plastic bumper. They are willing to buy me whatever bumper I want if I don't report it to their insurance company. It was a low speed inplact as we were both the first cars at the intersection when the light turned green, so it seems the bumper was the only thing damaged. While driving the truck yesterday and today I have not noticed and issues with the steering or front wheel, so I figure the damage is contained to the bumper.

I was able to pull it off the wheel so it's drivable.

For anyone who has the eBay bumper, or even the actual MOPAR steel bumper - question for ya:

Have you run it with the ends/extensions on?
If so, have you also run with them off?
Did the ends dig into the finish of the top of the main part of the bumper?
On both ends, same exact place, mine seems to have a high spot and the wing as I call it, rubs through the finish there. The stamping seems to leave a high spot there. I've thought about using a BFH and one of my body tools and trying to drive that down a bit to level it when I move the bumper to the new JT, or maybe grind a small relief on the bottom of the edge of the extension to prevent this.
Not sure how I like it best- full or short. I've had my front tires toss rocks forward which end up on the hood and windshield.............

The Fishbone is a solid bumper, I had a F150 back in to my JT in a parking lot. Cut the powder coat on my bumper, he needed a new bumper and bed. I am pleased with the bumper.

That link shows the full width, with extensions - does it come that way and you just left those off?

Says shipping weight is 41 pounds - that's a lot lighter than the steel one I got. Just the ends are crazy heavy.

It's shipped with the end caps bolted on. Bought it for the weight savings but I forgot to weigh it before it bolting on.
