This thread is old to me but good for others… I didn’t pay 20k more for mine. It didn’t cost me much at all to upgrade but I ordered mine before everything started getting crazy. The diesel is where it’s at in these imo. I have had both.
It’s under warranty I just don’t have time to let it sit there for them to test the battery….
Just looking for a cost effective one to see if the battery is the issue.
2021 around 17k miles - mine jerks / stutters
Dealership says it has no codes … drives normal but up an incline or under a small amount of load it will jerk pretty bad at around 50mph or on the interstate holding 75mph or if I give it throttle to pass.
I am at a loss of ideas for what it is...
My 21 eco diesel with 17,000 miles has a sluggish jerk choke missing situation going on when going up a slight incline when you get to around 30mph and when you are on the highway at around 65-75 when accelerating. It’s like it is jerking / missing. Maybe being deprived of fuel idk. It’s done...
Where is it located - is this it?
I’m going to try cleaning it with some CMC to see if that fixes my lag/stuttering issue when going up a slight incline or giving throttle on interstate.
Yeah there’s thousands of threads about it for gas… we do a lot of things to our Jeeps that’s essentially wasting money…
Reference diesels only for this question
I have the eco diesel… my second gladiator.. first one was a gas… I have around 16,000 miles on this one and sometimes up a small incline at moderate speeds and increasing speeds on interstate it will shift hard or jerk a bit or stutter hard. Around 40-75mph… Like maybe it isn’t getting fuel...
