Nice job. I used the same lights on my bed rack. You're right stock lighting back there is pretty much useless. Only difference is I wired my lights to a 12v switch outlet panel I have where the inverted 120ac comes on some trucks. Those lights do the trick nicely and priced right.
It should fit snug against our belly's to catch all the crumbs. Or we can raise the steering wheel and it should fit almost under our chins. I like this.
Need to know the type of reverse light socket we have on the Gladiator. Is it a 912, 921, 906, 904, 902, or w16w? Thinking of changing out the reverse light for a stronger led type.
Well said. Maintenance is a bear with any modern vehicle, even more so with the ecodiesel. I hear that DEF injector is a 700$ item that can gum up easily if not using fresh quality DEF fluid. There are a host of sensors on that exhaust that cost a pretty penny. Reality is diesels are considered...
No. I am saying just take away the restrictions of direct sales. If a car manufacturer wants to sell on-line, let them. What's the monopoly in that? Lots of manufacturers do it.
No one is ranting, just giving their insight on the diesel. There are pros and cons to most everything, including the V6's and 4 bangers. People come here to read up on things in order to make an informed decision when purchasing or adding mods, whatever the case may be. This isn't exclusive...
Take a gander at this video from Fast Lane Trucks.

These guys buy and sell trucks regularly as they drive test them in their videos and do some real world evaluations. Here the...
Have to agree with you 100%. I think the market will dictate what works best. Instead, literally across the nation, dealerships are protected by state laws.
Well, frankly I would not purchase any all electric vehicle now or in the next few years, but I do like their sales model, and the fact they are doing so well as you state, attests to them doing something right. I don't think it's Elon Musk's charisma that is selling all those cars. I think it...
Precisely my point. People have to drive out of state because of state laws protective of dealerships and not permitting them to service vehicles in their states. How wonderful for the consumer eh? Listen, for every good story about dealerships, I would venture there are 10 others who like to...
Well, to each his own I suppose, but that full day effort is from folks having to drive out of state because of these protective laws dealerships lobbied for. Also, if think Telsa has a horrible track record compared to some of these rip off dealerships, I don't what to tell you. Often people...
You should be concerned by a state bill (house bill 6233) they are attempting to pass. It seeks an end to Telsa's direct to customer sales from the maker. In other words, you would have to go through a dealer like we Jeep buyers have to. Originally, the bill was to protect Telsa's sales model...
Sorry I hit a sore spot with you, but who said this thread is for ecodiesel lovers only? It's about a magazine review of the Gladiator ecodiesel. I happened to mention a few things the review didn't even touch on so others can consider and maybe reject certain viewpoints. Hint... That's what...
Sorry your offended if anyone gives an opinion of the ecodiesel that is contrary to your view on it. Isn't it great you can get on this forum and learn the pros and cons? Perhaps there are some here that don't want to jump through hoops to get a 3k settlement from FCA cause they got a crappy engine.
I'd just invest in a second battery set-up or get a solar generator, like a Jackery or Bluetti. I think getting the portable power station is better though, its portable, easy to move from vehicle to vehicle, can be used on the beach or wherever you want. Its not tied to the vehicle. Yes...
RVers use blinking LED lights under their rigs to keep the rodents away. I hear it works most of the time, but it must be a headache and a half to endure that. Maybe cat urine from your litter box? Spread it around your tires. I understand its not only food the mice are attracted to, they...
The thread is about a review of this engine, its not about or only for prospective buyers. Myself, I like to listen to the pros and cons regarding almost anything I am about to sink 50-60k in. And if you already have an ecodiesel and feel offended by a difference of opinion regarding this...
