0-60 is definitely slower after doing a timed run, but I'm still very pleased with the torque and top speed, I've had it up to 106 mph in Mexico of course. In regards to stock shocks in the rear and 2 inch extensions up front that is temporary but for now seems to flex well so not too concerned.
an 8 speed is always going to be shifting because it has so many more shift points to go thru. Ironically mine shifts less often because it never has a need to go all the way to 7th or 8 th speed. It pulls hard, I'm happy
I just noticed a device called the ECRI and its cheaper than the TAZER, they make one for the Gladiator but have never heard of it until today, anyone using this?
The dealership I went to in December and purchased my JT Gladiator Rubicon had 18 JT Gladiator Rubicons and many more sports and overlands....question....why did you not just hunt one down online and get one that way?
Also I was charged $700 for install but sold the mechanic that worked there my wheels for $700 so it kind of paid for itself, I had zero plans for those stock wheels, so actually i did this entire build for like $4700 then added lights later that i got for free from my brother for Christmas but...
Hey thanks man, I did get some good deals but it just means looking around and sometimes getting something you are not totally crazy about for example the mag wheels I didn't want them and the 4wheel parts guy was like i have them in stock at the main warehouse and they can be here within 24...
Do I really need to post receipts man, I kept them in case I had to explain this to my wife, but surprisingly I'm having to prove it to you instead, it will only embarrass you and waste my time. I did buy the winch at harbor freight on black Friday but that was only $100 less that day,and I...
I'm wondering why this conversation died? So I lowered air pressure and its better, but I don't believe that means its fixed, my tire pressure just like a steering dampener is a mere ban aid in the long run. hmmm
So many dealerships are charging like $60-70,000 for a gladiator with 37" tires and 2 inch mopar lift, in many cases not even a Rubicon. My dealership gave me more than a fair deal for my stock Rubicon Gladiator, however I told them I would be back within a week to show them the before and after...
Im not sure if the torque converter in the 850Re transmission thinks the vehicle is towing something and has adjusted the torque ratio because this thing is definitely feeling more toquey and its top end has the added tire ratio of about 21% tire size increase. Maybe side by side a stock...
So some kits have adjustable arms, this kit makes it simple because Skyjacker already did the math and made a fixed/non adjustable upper rear arm and lower front arm that put the pinion exactly where it needs to be, so no screwing or threading pipe..etc..etc..very simple
8th gear? sound kind of greedy man...lol...you want big tires and good gas mileage? lol...I'm running 40's and never go above 6th unless I'm down hill. I have zero intention of re-gearing, couple reasons 1. My jeep hauls a$$ now seems to be faster than stock, i had it up to 105mph "In Mexico"...
