I was about to respond the same. I had a 2020 and bought a new 2025. When I put my old rims and 35’s on the new Gladiator, the computer couldn’t read the tires. I was told the 2025’s were on a new frequency. They had to remove the sensors from the stock tires and remount everything on my rims.
I never wanted to go so far as trying to fit competition sized audio package in my Jeep. I resigned myself to never going bigger than 8". I have had both bazookas and the MB Quart box in my Gladiator. They always sounded like crap with the doors off, I also felt like quality was sub-par. I...
I've been investigating this one. Unfortunately, I've got other items installed in my cubby and couldn't use this option. At least we know the creative options are catching up with the needs.
Yes, i've spent days picking through options for the connection. Key point is that it's easier to drill a round hole than to cut a square opening. I've also sorted through about 6 different location checking into what room is available behind each location. I think i've mapped most of the...
This is probably the best idea I've seen yet. Least invasive, and for me, the closest connection to where the mic is hung. I think this will be the way I go instead. Thanks for this.
I've seen the install on YouTube which shows the console passenger side flush mount. My only concern there was being pushed against by the passenger. There's also a flat space between the emergency brake and 4X4 shifter I've considered. (red circle)
I'm always on the lookout for a modification that might save space or make more sense. I'm about to do a GMRS radio hidden installation, and another improvement I'm looking for is where to place a RJ45 connection plug to properly extend the microphone. I've went back and forth on this topic...
I know of no better place to ask for assistance on this. I have a 2020 gladiator overland edition, and like everyone else here, am always investigating how to better utilize the space around my dashboard. I have a micro GMRS radio (MXT115) that I think would be small enough to fit inside the...
You and I are of the same mindset. I try to make everything I do to mine look like it was done at the factory. The MB Quart box I posted about kept me in the same mindset. Looks like it was made for it, (which it was).
When I origionally planned out the system, I had 8" and 6" at the house. Only 6" will fit. And yes, hardly anything will fit behind the seat without serious modification. However, since I originally set up this system, I have changed the configuration. I am now running a dbl 8" box custom...
No talking about the sticker price on the Gladiator (Overland) I bought last July, but:....
Rims, Wheels, 2.5" Metal Cloak Leveling Kit - $4500.
JL Amplifier and dual bazookas installed - $600
AuxBeam 6-gang relay/switch system - $159
Sport Rack for lights and antenna mounting $460
Tri-fold...
I went with a 2.5" Metal Cloak level kit and 35" tires. I absolutely love the ride and can't complain about torque or gas mileage. But honestly, once I wear these out, I will go to 37".
Honestly, the main reason I went with Auxbeam is because of the minimal space the control would take. That, and the fact that it was a one-and-done install. I don't ever have to go through the firewall or into the dash again. All the hard work is done.
I don't disagree. However, it seems the local clubs and some of my jeep friends are still messing around with CB's. I do have some handheld GRMS radios from my hunting days. I'll see how it works out.
Finally getting to post final photos on this. I elected to go with a short firestik for in-town and close proximity communication. I'll see how that works out for now.
For the Mic holder, I elected for a magnetic mount. It seemed to take up less room and looked cleaner in my opinion.
