This is probably the best idea I've seen yet. Least invasive, and for me, the closest connection to where the mic is hung. I think this will be the way I go instead. Thanks for this.
Glad i can help! Because that panel can be removed it also makes cutting accurately MUCH easier.

Oh like this, I'd rather not drill into the side of my center console, this is perfect, just a small plate to replace if need be.

Does Bulletpoint have a mic hanger? I might have to grab one of those too
Yeah they do. Works great for the Motorola GMRS radio mics. Apparently the same standard as CB.

The ability to easily and (presumably) cheaply replace the panel was another big reason I chose the location. It’s also very easy to get the cable to from under the dash.

I can take others if there’s a view you want to see. It looks a little like the cable is bent hard over but it isn’t.

That is perfect! Been trying to find a spot like the others have and just did not want to put a hole in the dash or side of the console.

Mind mentioning what plug you used?

I picked up a magnetic one. Just personal preference.

Happy to, nothing special:
CERRXIAN RJ45 Male to Female LAN... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRZAN3R?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

For reference I have my main unit mounted above my steering column and this flush mount cable reaches behind/under the IP to the main unit with room to spare.

Awesome, thank you. That actually is the one I have had in my list for sometime now.

I have my main unit under the passenger seat. So should reach easily

I know this is an older thread but I am wanting to do this but am absolutely clueless about CB radios. I have the lasfit with the rj45 connector already but I do not see radios online that use them. they all have a round 4 pin plug. Is this a brand that I need to look for or a certain type of radio? sorry for what may be a dumb question, just want to get the cleanest install I can and I would like to use the rj plug if I can.

Not for CBs, pretty sure this is for aGMRS/HAM radios.

@Crossbones55, Scottz is correct. This is a Motorola GMRS radio. Comes stock with a RJ45 connector for the handheld. Personally i would not bother with a CB. I had one in my JK and the difference with GMRS is significant and GMRS is the new standard being used by most.

Going on the Easter jeep safari and they use CB, its really the only time I will be using it so going to keep it as simple as possible.

I have the Radioddity CS-47 AM/FM CB Radio with all controls in the mic. This model also uses the RJ-45 / Cat 6 cable. And I run a Midland MXT-275 GMRS.
I also have FRS and MURS hand helds just to cover everything.

That’s really too bad, it’s such an aged tech and easily replaced by GMRS. Hopefully these groups will update with the times.

Lasfit offers a left side cubby that has a mic, RJ45, connection built in. I installed the Lasfit left side aux switches that includes the mic connection also. Installation is simple and fit and finish is good.
