Agreed, different stresses but still a great visual. Not sure on the brakes for the JT as I’ve not touched them yet but generally speaking yes, I’ve always removed the caliper to do disc brakes. That was generally the only way to get the piston tool in place for many makes/models anyways.
I’m not sure I’ve seen a better representation of single use hardware! I have owned a few cars that require new head bolts when replacing due to high compression and stretch. Amazing the forces these components undergo.

I was a first release purchaser of the Oracle taillights and after roughly 35k miles they still work as they should.
Outside of eventually needing a tazr for the random error message I’ve had no complaints.
I believe Rebel Off-road has the XPLOR bed rack in a half height with the optional XCAP enclosure. I couldn’t find photos but the options on their website.
That GS on the back of the defender has got to put them overweight… those start at over 500lbs empty.
What hitch mount would you go with? Would you be taking it on trails fully loaded(the Jeep that is)?
I did the same. The noise isn’t that bad and with a 4 tire inflation setup it doesn’t take long.
Only difference is I routed my connection to the exterior though.
On my gasser the 4 bolts are right on/by the frame rail in the drivers side wheel well. I don’t have to remove anything to get to them. Same goes for the drag link nut.
I experience this on a stretch of interstate 40 that is expansion joint/concrete. It’s only about two miles but my Jeep “bounces”. Otherwise drives fantastic and has done it with both my stock rubicon suspension, then with a leveling kit, and now with a full Clayton lift.

Sounds like a whole lotta smoke to me. Not saying that they may not need replacement but a second opinion would be on my short list.
