Thanks for the reply. I actually took the truck in because the message kept coming up and the service manager said there was a service bulletin for a connection under the truck which may be what you were referring to. Since then, no more message so I’m hoping it took care of that issue.
I Had a service shifter message pop up last week. I took it back to the dealer for them to check it it and the did a software update but did say it had a code for low voltage. Today while driving shifter message came up again, when I checked the volt gauge it’s only reading 13.1 or .2 volts...
Could someone please clarify if most components are the same as the JT gas. Looking for adjustable track bar and everything I see says they won’t work on the diesel?
I just received my banks I dash and can’t seem to find none of the EGT sensors in the settings. Could you possibly help me with where to find them? Thanks
Thanks for all the replies and info. Tires should be here beginning of next week and didn’t want to get them on only to realize they wouldn’t fit without other modifications.
I guess I should have mentioned mine is also a diesel so I don’t think the gearing will be as bad. If need be I can reheat later just trying to find out what all would need to done to fit 37.
I have a sport S NOT MAX TOW and looking to go with 37s. I have a 2” mopar lift just haven’t installed but wanting to know what else would be needed to clear 37s. Any pictures of set up would be appreciated also.
Ordered gladiator in Nov. was dropped off at staging location on Jan 11. Ask dealer when they expect the final delivery and he said there is no way to estimate. Keep in mind this location is only 2 hours from the dealer. Is there anything that can be done?
Appreciate all the info. He was making me think it may be something new with the new gen eco diesel
I appreciate the information. The way the service guy talked I didn’t know if it may be something new with the new gen eco diesel. I’ll probably still look into the gauge mostly since my wife...
Thanks for the replies. When I purchased my gladiator the service manager kept on about always cooling the turbo down and making sure it was cool before shutting off. I’ll probably look into one of the obd 2 gauges that monitor egt.
Looking for a gauge to monitor turbo temperature. Still new to the diesel side and would like something to help me remember to let it cool for a min before shutting off.
I have actually found a single gauge pod mount for the A pillar. It was designed for a JL. I’m fairly new to jeeps, could someone confirm if the JT is the same?
Looking at adding the banks gauge https://www.bankspower.com/i-2591-banks-idash-1-8-supergauge-universal-can-stand-alone-for-all-2008-obdii-can-bus-vehicles.html# , is there a pillar mount that would work with this gauge?
yes both are installed on the truck. Appreciate the info. Like I said with the type of driving I just didn’t see the need if longer shocks. Probably will look into new mounts if it becomes a noticeable issue
Wife took her gladiator (sport s) in for a service. One of the techs told her with her lift and the spacers 1.5” front .75 rear that her shocks were over extending. Vehicle is 99% highway and about the only off-road it sees is our drive way. I’ve drove it and never noticed anything. Opinions?
