Quality of my undercover ultra flex is very disappointing, and so is their customer service. One of the latches ripped out when I closed it on Christmas Day last year, and the only "repair" they would offer was sending me an oversized self-tapping screw to jimmy rig it back together. My truck is...
I tend to play it safe because we travel solo with a trailer and have to drive 5-10hrs back home when we're done. In other words, yes, I'm a bit of a wuss.
I had planned on getting air lockers for my truck when the warranty runs out, but after spending some time off road it's hard to justify the cost. The combination of factory LSD and traction control just hasn't left me wanting more yet. The winch and traction boards haven't even been used yet...
Belle tire quoted me $80 per tire to mount on bare wheels. Discount tire did the job for $22ea and absolutely nailed the balancing on my 35's. Today my wife stopped in there with her car and they patched a nail hole for her while she waited for free. That place is legit.
Unless the owner says otherwise, you guys should respect the licensing restrictions on the website he linked. I've had people take designs I've shared for free and try to sell them, which is a real dick move.
Yes, tire size is dialed in within 1mph gps speed. If there's no wind or a tailwind I can hit 8th sometimes, otherwise I end up in 7th. Towing my boat is usually 4th or 5th.
There isn't much to do for a break in on modern engines, I believe the owners manual has some guidelines about varying engine rpm & towing though. I changed my oil at 500 miles when the truck was new because I wanted to switch to a different oil type and there were almost no wear metals in the...
This is not a common failure so I would chalk it up as a freak occurrence. If you want some added peace of mind, you can always send in used oil samples for analysis during the new motor break in period to get a heads up on any irregularities.
They all fit like this. Oracle is going to tell you that you installed them wrong and need to push it into the fender really hard to match the contour of their light.
I just went through this exact scenario and chose to get 4 extra sensors from rockauto for the new wheels. Cost around $100 for 4 new tpms and now I have an extra set of wheels/tires with the proper sensors installed as spares. If you have a discount tire around, I would highly recommend them...
Changing the threshold is the same amount of work as disabling the tpms, so you might as well lower the setpoint and still have a functioning tpms system.
