Removal and replacement is very simple. I’ve done it by myself a few times when working on the drawer system I built.
The cover is secured via two bolts at the front of each of the side tracks. The side tracks stay in place when the cover is removed.
I have the Outlander by Agri-Cover. The fit and finish are very good IMO. Install was a breeze by myself and it folds against the cab, which keeps the entire bed open.
The bows that support the top are above the bed rails, rather than inboard of them, like the Softopper. I have a box in the bed...
***UPDATE***
Purchase now includes a brand new, unopened, installation kit from Bak. This kit includes everything you need to install this cover as if you were the 1st time owner.
It’s about a year old and in great condition. It’s very secure and water tight.
I removed it to install an...
As for the loaner issue, I’ve experienced both sides of the coin.
Tuttle Click in Irvine has been horrible to deal with in terms of service. They like to keep the truck “in que” for days before even having a tech look at it. Sometimes they have put me in an Enterprise rental after much tantrum...
Tenhulzen Automotive 2-Wheel Alignment Tool - All-in-one (Camber/Caster/Toe Plates) - Made in USA https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PKI0YSU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RXVX1QH3JZ90HT0DGE9Y
They seem simple and I believe that’s the case. It measures when the wheel is turned 20 degrees and then again...
6 degrees after step 2. I didn’t bother measuring until I started having issues.
As for measuring, it took me awhile to wrap my head around it. Eventually I’ll get the tool from Amazon so I can get the true measurement. I do my own work anyway, so I don’t mind having it in the tool box.
I’m...
I measured it at 6 degrees when I did the initial work.
I did a deep dive after getting the DW and learned that true caster can’t be measured without a caster measurement device, like the kind on Amazon, or an alignment machine.
We can see an angle relative to the pinion, but not true caster...
I want to add my information to the hopper for anybody that’s seeking solutions down the road as it relates to lifts and death wobble.
So many of the death wobble and steering issues are specific to the different parts that each of us are installing, so I share this with that in mind. I...
A leveling kit is really simple.
You can do one side at a time, which helps the opposite side give you more leverage to drop the side you’re working on. This method also requires fewer jacks since your are supporting one corner rather than an entire end of the vehicle.
A 3 ton floor jack from...
Just noticed this now, guess I don’t have my settings done correctly to notify me of posts.
As to your question, I only see it as an option for front coverage on the Rugged Ridge website. I could be missing something as well though.
I too strongly considered J-tops, but it just seemed like too much money for something I wasn’t sure I would enjoy.
So, I opted for the Rugged Ridge Eclipse Sunshade for a lot less, just to try the whole sun shade thing out.
I have the version that doesn’t have holes for the 3 horizontal...
I’ve used my Evoc Duo about twice per week for the last 6 weeks or so with my MTB and trials bike. I remove it and store it behind the rear seat when I don’t have a bike loaded.
So far, there isn’t any evidence of paint wear. My pad has a sort of micro fiber fleece backing, but I wouldn’t...
I installed the RR Eclipse Sun Shade a couple days ago. I couldn’t find much info here regarding how it functions with the Freedom Panels, so I thought I’d share my impressions.
It seems well made. The mesh is heavy duty and definitely does a good job of blocking the sun. All the stitching is...
I scoured this forum for months before buying my Gladiator.
After being frustrated with the dealer add-on’s and financing gimmicks I kept encountering in the Southern California area, I noticed Rob Trachtman’s name kept getting referenced as a no BS option for purchasing.
I reached out to him...
