Iām in the same boat. 7600 miles and for the last 4 months, nothing but electrical problems. If the dealership gets it fixed, and the fix lasts more than a day or two, Iāll sell this nightmare.
well, my new radio came in and they put it in and now the volume doesnāt work. So now they are ordering my 4th 8.4 inch $2000 option radio.
I have not had a working radio/touch controls since September. 4 months and 4 radios.
I have called Jeep cares and made multiple cases with them...
with only. 5000 miles on my Mojave, the touch screen works 10% of the time. Of course a bunch of features are controlled by the touch screen. I took it to my local dealer and they said yet, itās bad and ordered a new one and said they would call me back when the part comes in. We. Itās been over...
now that you have had this on for a while, how do you like it? Are you getting water in the engine bay during driving in the rain? Do you have any pictures of how bright the light is at night?
Well 6 months of ownership without an issue and now my alpine 8.4 touch screen stops working just like the original poster in this thread.
I can do a hard reset ( hold power and browse for 30 seconds) and it will start working for 4 or 5 minutes. Then stop again.
anyone Else experience this...
I dont take off fast at red lights. I let the start stop do its thing at red lights and on any hwy road i use the adaptive cruise as much as possible and i stay 65 mph and below. So basically i drive like a grandpa.... which i am. LOL
My neighbor works at the local Jeep dealer, he told me to start the Jeep and push in the tune and volume knobs for 20 seconds and it would reboot the system. This worked for me!
[update] I am at sea level, so that may be helping my fuel economy.
Well, after buying my first ever Jeep only 5 weeks ago, my 21 Mojave backup camera has failed.
I have to call the dealership on Monday and see when they can fix it.
I hope this is not a trend. š
