Like I said I reset the trip gauge when I left the gas station (didn't buy fuel, just needed my morning bang, and hamburger).. when I got into the vehicle that day my range was only 412 weird thing when your mileage goes up your range goes up too... I said this was my average mileage from...
Well part of it is I live in Iowa. Flat is flat can be around here. The other part is the type of diesel you put in.. I've seen as much as 10% fuel economy change depending on what diesel fuel I put in. Around here BP is the absolute worst! Kwik Star is the best the Sam's club believe it or not...
Had to pick up quikrete for my new fence, 26 60lb bags had Maximus feeling a little light upfront at 70mph.. but he pulled 30mpg on a flat stretch still.... It is Moo Dog approved as you can see in the photo...
Okay I've been wanting to put on a JKS 3.5 lift kit but I'm told it will not fit on the JTRD. I assume there is interference some where with the gas lift kits on the diesel trucks does anyone on here know what the problem actually is? Def tank? Exhaust?
62 is 7 over which keeps me from getting tickets in Iowa. Haven't had a speeding ticket since I was 18 and want to keep it that way. Being a very large darker skined guy I prefer as little contact with law enforcement as possible...
I run only Kwik Trip/Star fuel and live at about 950...
It is actually for the Gen 3 ecodiesels. The recall is to reprogram the DEF usage. Nice bright product with it is everyone that's had it done has been saying they've seen an increase in mileage
I felt like sharing a positive thing about my JTRD. Since the recall reprogram I have seen a significant uptick in my MPG on my way to work 2 lane at 62MPH I'm seeing 32MPG on flat stretches on the 4 lane at 70 I'm seeing 29MPG. I seriously LOVE this truck even with $5.50 diesel prices
I don't know for sure but I read on a post on here that they do not have a evap can. And your fine doing the extra fill. That being said I would also like to know for damn sure
I live in Iowa winter was no problem with Maximus. I have the block heater option and never used it once. With the cold weather grow cover and remote start and plenty of power service.. biggest thing I think is to make sure you use good quality fuel best diesel around here is Kwick Star/Kwick Trip
I live in Iowa, grew up by the Minnesota border. Good AT tires go a long ways. I'm partial to Goodyear Duratrac myself, haven't used the block heater yet started up fine with the remote start at -24 air temp the other day. One thing I do recommend buy the white bottle of power service. That is...
