MPG since recall

I felt like sharing a positive thing about my JTRD. Since the recall reprogram I have seen a significant uptick in my MPG on my way to work 2 lane at 62MPH I'm seeing 32MPG on flat stretches on the 4 lane at 70 I'm seeing 29MPG. I seriously LOVE this truck even with $5.50 diesel prices

I certainly have never seen that kind of mileage with my stock '22 Gen 3.

It is actually for the Gen 3 ecodiesels. The recall is to reprogram the DEF usage. Nice bright product with it is everyone that's had it done has been saying they've seen an increase in mileage

I think a lot of it has to do with the type of fuel you put in. I know in my VW sport wagon BP fuel absolutely sucked and so did Casey's

Huh, I dont show any recalls as applicable to my '22 on my MOPAR App.

I have exclusively used Chevron since I bought it.

No recall on NHTSA nor my jeep/mopar app. Are you talking about a TSB? Could you share which one? I’ve been told everything was up to date on mine at the dealership last month

A lot depends on the trim, location, which grade of diesel and driver. A stock sport at sea level with efficiency diesel doing ~60mph will get 31+ all day. Even a small lift, increase in tire size or raise in speed (70+) will start dropping that mileage significantly. I lost 6mpg just taking my sport up to rubicon suspension and wheels with a steel front bumper (31 down to 25 average)

62 is 7 over which keeps me from getting tickets in Iowa. Haven't had a speeding ticket since I was 18 and want to keep it that way. Being a very large darker skined guy I prefer as little contact with law enforcement as possible...

I run only Kwik Trip/Star fuel and live at about 950 altitude. Factory suspension factory sized Goodyear Dura-Trac tires with 43psi of nitrogen. As I said, this is what I have been getting for milage on flat level roads with no wind. My overall average has never been near that high 27-28 is the highest I have seen overall average.
