  1. Any rumor on MSRP discounts for December?

Surely they aren't raising the price on JTs. It's already overpriced. I'm still shocked at what features my $54k JT lacks, especially when compared to the competition.
  2. Heated Seats upgrade

I had Mopar leather and heated/ vented added to my Wrangler. All of it was from Katzkin and I would highly recommend it. Switches were back on each side of the center console. Used the ventilated feature all the time in Austin. Heat was great, especially when we saw -28 in Colorado.
  3. 4xe gateway drug?

My buddy has a wrangler 4xe and I completely agree. It's also really quick, shockingly quick for a wrangler. I'd be interested in a JT 4xe.
  4. Buying out a lease - work with dealer or go right to bank?

You're screwed and will have to go to a dealer and pay them about $1k for the privilege because of Florida law.
  5. Prices are cheap here in Texas

I've been looking at 22s and you can get about 10k off a Rubi. Really tempted to trade in my wagon.
  6. Finding a Selec-Trac In Stock?

I think you need to order. For whatever reason, it's not a popular option.
  7. Family of 3 in Gladiator rescued in California floodwaters...

Turn around, don’t drown. Glad everyone is safe. Too many people die around here that way.
  8. How much do you think I can get off MSRP for a 2022 Overland on a lot in Southern Cal?

I just looked on cars.com. With the $6500 rebate, I saw some crazy discounts in California, well over $10k off on Overlands. I didn't pay attention to locale but I bet most were So Cal. I went to school in the Bay Area and didn’t recognize any of the dealers.
  9. How much do you think I can get off MSRP for a 2022 Overland on a lot in Southern Cal?

Data point for Texas, large dfw dealer is $8-$9k off 22' Overlands currently, includes $1500 rebate.
  10. Real world MPG, what are you getting in your Diesel?

Don't feed the troll. Just ignore him and he'll move along.
  11. Traded JT for JL rubi with 2.0

I loved my 2.0 JLU. It was quick and got pretty good mileage (for a Jeep). I timed it 0-60 @ 6.3 seconds. I'd buy a JT with the 2.0.
  12. Outer Banks weekend trip.

    Great pics. Thanks for sharing.
  13. Mopar Performance Windshield Wipers w/ Built-In Washer Jets Released For Jeep Gladiator

Refills are generic and really cheap for my other car that has these same type of blades. I buy the 6 mm silicon refills from Amazon, 4 for $10. Just changed mine out and they work great. You'll have to trim them to fit, but that and install is easy.
  14. Katzkin with Degreez Install

Had these in my JL and highly recommend them. I'm in Austin and used the cooling feature nearly year round. The heat was great for our occasional cold spells and mountain trips. My Wrangler saw temps from 110 down to -28. Seats made both a little more bearable.
  15. Hot head liners / sound assassin

Installed both in my JLU and would definitely recommend. Install was easy enough and I'm sure even easier in the JT. Made a noticeable deference in both sound and interior temps. I'm sure you won't regret it if you buy them.
  16. Ecodiesel power derating as temps rise?

No background in diesels, but lots of experience tuning turbo engines back in the day. All the engines I tuned had a timing reduction feature based on intake air temps (IAT). Hit the threshold and you drop 5 degrees of timing across the board which cut power and hopefully IATs. Some had a second...
  17. Positives and Negatives of buying a new 2020 JTR

Even better than that for Sport/ Sport S and Willys. Risidual Values show 25%-27% for these after 3 years and 30k miles.
  18. Lease vs Buy

OP, just order from Gupton and get 8% under invoice. You're in the next state over so you're close enough ;). You can get RVs from Edmunds.
  19. Insurance troubles

While they initially denied, they did pay the claim.
