I searched... The BAK X4s looks like it rolls all the way up.
Still can't find the direct measurements of the platform at 18" high
Also... 100% aluminum (base structures, crossbars)? Steel does not do well up here.
Digging this rack!
What are the surface dimensions of the VRS rack on the top of the 18" platform?
It is all aluminum?
Does the 18" support the BAK X4s Revolver and allow it to roll all the way forward?
Thanks!
Those are Teraflex Nomads. Still love them! I'll have to post up a new pic on them. The Baja Boss's are now on my JK with the same wheels and they are the best ATs on the market.
Added a Midland-275 GMRS 15watt system - Gone is the static from my cheapo Baofengs and the antenna is tucked away nicely behind the cab. I installed the head unit under the glove box with extreme double stick tape. Doesn't seem like it will stick around.
My Jeeps keep ending up like porcupines. Brushed washes push them all over the place.
I have been happy with a brushless drive-thru to knock off the big chunks, do some underbody sprays and hit the wheels.
Different than a hand wash that becomes necessary.
I'd cap out on 38s. Exponentially you escalate so many things when you go to 40s.
Truss, RCVs, shafts, brakes, 5.38s, driveshafts, etc and you have not even gone to 60s for the 40s.
Artec winch plate was the best option I could find about a year ago and was in stock. On their website, they have the recommended winches. I ended up with a Smittybilt gen2 X20 10k Synthetic that was a great match.
So... Lemme play devils advocate for a hot minute. Have you ever used the winch? Why dump a $1,000+ into something you will never use + extra weight?
AAA cost $100/year if you never leave cell coverage.
Do you venture into unpopulated country where someone will not pass for an hour or two...
I went with the Agricover Literider. Easy to roll up. Cheap and has faired well over a year. You should be able to roll it up enough to keep it out of the way of the bike without removing it. It is not totally waterproof, but keeps the moisture at bay until I hit it with a pressure car wash...
