Do eet!
Ridge grapplers suck in the water and on Ice, but that is my 2 pennies.
Anytime you upgrade any part, you risk your warranty. Hell, you risk your life every minute.
Make it what you want and smile a lot.
If it is for family stuff only, the F150 rules. A 2.7ecoboost can move the truck with good fuel economy and there is stadium of space in that truck. It is a truck that does it all. I miss my F150 some days.
The F150 does lack the fun factor of a Jeep. It takes constant management to stash...
I thought I may have measured wrong (and measured twice). Indeed my Baja Boss ATs are 36" and I am disappointed with that when so many other tires measure out at 36.5 plus. Rig looks great!
8 of 10 - I might swap to something else for the summer, but this winter has proven, I will keep them around for next winter as well.
3 peak rated - So far they have lived up to the title on the road. Perhaps because of the AT style, they cross snow piles with ease on secondaries and freeways...
More snow wheeling! Trip to Montana made for some challenging wheeling. Had the tires down to 4psi in order to hook up. I wheeled with a broad range of vehicles on 37s and faired well. I think the weight of Gladiator almost needs a floatier tire on the snow. That being said, the Mickeys...
Clearlidz is a neat product, but seemed to pricey to not be open air.
I thing on the granite, the black is still a neat blend, especially if you are dressing your Jeep up in Black accents.
Need more data...
How many miles on it
What brand, type of lift?
How high is it?
+1 for the Aluminum steering box potential issue
What else have you done to it
Are the tires decent?
+1 for the Sunrider. The simplicity of opening it makes it amazing.
It is such a stark contrast on the white, I sometimes wish I had the black roof.
My JK version was quieter, so this one does not live installed year round. That part, I am kind of disappointed over.
Two years I have had an ARB dual compressor sitting around my house. The 2781 Smittybilt is just finger scorching simplicity. I was undecided on where to install it on my JKUR then torn on where to install it on the Gladiator. I picked up a Procomp SS-6 and the Grimm offroad compressor...
Update - new tire on the front passenger side from the local shop. They broke off a TPMS sensor the 1st time is what they are telling me. Still feels unbalanced at certain speeds. I am going to try and have them road force balanced this week.
I decided to run the Mickey Thompson Boss A/T after looking at how aggressive they looked on a Mojave. On and off the last 4 years I have ran the Milestar Patagonia and the Cooper STT Pro on Jeeps in 37"s.
So far 37x12.50r17:
3 peak rated - So far they have lived up to the title on the road...
