During the summer, my CFX3 35 would run 1.5 days on the OEM Battery before it shut off. Historically, my ARB Classic 50Q would run 3 days before it shut off on an X2 AGM in my JKU.
Not sure if the Dometic is the culprit or the OEM battery for the short life.
I imagine the OEM Battery...
Are you saying a 13.5" width vs 12.5" width gives you that ability? Should be a bit of a fuel economy boost running the 12.5" over wider ones. When I swapped from Pats to STT Pros on my JKU I lost 1.5mpg.
Norther Lights or Bust... Well it was a bust. Watched lots of shooting stars while hanging out in 22 degree Dark Sky territory but the Northern Lights did not arrive. Snagged this picture at our spot by the water.
I am up in the C'dA area. Hopefully we will get down towards for some Boise area wheeling in the next year.
It is a curious failure. Might be worth the due diligence to Milestar. On the other hand, it could just continue the frustration.
My experience with the Ridge Grapplers could be...
1) I have 10k on my Patagonia's wheeled "lightly" and they do not look like that
2) With SEMA coming up, I wonder if there will be any new tire releases.
3) Ridge grapplers sucked on at 30/40 degrees on my JKU in the rain/snow at freeway speeds. Whereas the Patogonias and Coopers were surefooted...
Finding locks for the boxes was a pain in the ass. Ended up using Master 131s.
Roam customer service recommends
Master Lock7KA
ABUS 75IB/30
Master Lock 131Q
Added some 83L Roam boxes from Northridge. My goal with these is to stick stuff up there I don't use on a regular basis, but always bring along. Add some October tree change goodness.
Totally happy I went 5.13s when it comes to towing. The gears and the transmission make strong work of some of the passes out here. I was running a JKU with 5.13s with the same camper. I would have never been able to drive the JKU the way I drive the JT.
Open out west Interstates - It runs...
Switchpros, S-tech and S-pods are upper end switch packages.
I am about to put in a Procomp SS-6. I kinda like stashing my key in that Aux switch pocket.
