The Far Out def strikes me as an attempt by Jeep to clear out the factory part bins before MY 2024 production so I could see variances like this everywhere.
The Overland is just a Sport with leather and some of the items from the High Altitude catalog.
Dealers around me had a hard time in particular selling Overlands due to some of the reasons mentioned in this thread.
Looks really good.
I have my ARB twin mounted under my passenger seat in my 2021 but I have a feeling on the next Gladiator I get that won't be an option with power seats coming in 2024.
I run a Go Fast camper with a couple extra hundred pounds of camping gear on a routine basis in my base Sport with 35s and the stock 3.73 gearing.
It's fine, honestly. These things were never racecars to begin with and they're still way faster than say a Class A diesel pusher or larger rig.
3.73s are fine for 35s imo.
But thats a bad deal. Wouldn't buy a new truck off the lot with one of those cheap spacer lifts. and especially not for what they're asking.
I have the regular factory tow package with the standard axles and 3.73 gearing.
35s work fine on my factory wheels with zero rubbing. So no, Max Tow isn't necessary for that application.
Counterpoint: dealership tech pay is garbage for what the job entails. "Nobody wants to work anymore" is not really true imo. There aren't thousands of people just sitting at home. Covid caused a massive seismic shift in the various industries and people were able to move into better paying...
Hey, I run the Bilstein 5100s on my JT. I've been happy with them so far. I don't tow very much but I do have a GFC shell plus hundreds of pounds of camping gear in the bed so the firmer ride on the 5100s doesn't bother me much.
The reason why the Bilstein 5100s are cheaper is because...
Would it be possible to wire the bed power outlet so it can either draw power from the truck alternator or my 100ah lithium bed mounted battery? From some research it looks like I can use a pair of 12v power sources as long as there is a diode on the positive legs?
I have a base Sport so I...
Leveling kit rarely affects ride.
That being said, I would think a 2.5 inch spacer kit would require longer upper LCA's control arms at a minimum.....
EDIT: bad typing lol
Welcome!
I don't think I've posted mine in this thread before. Picked it up at the end of October. Side tent doors, no windows. Slate grey tent color. Goes great with the Sting Grey on the JT.
Lift is a 2.5" Clayton Ride Right with the optional HD rear springs and a 1" terraflex spacer on...
