The sad thing is even with flood insurance it maxes out at $250,000. That doesn’t go very far if your house is totaled. I also have $50,000 for contents. And the deductible I believe is $5,000.
I have much better coverage for wind and fire.
We got back on Thursday. We got about 6” in the garage so were much more fortunate than others.
i got the garage pretty much hosed out and then went out later and went flying off the steps. Wet steps and flip flops don’t mix. So I’ve been up since 1:00 iceing down my knee.
The boat and...
I’m in Punta Gorda, Charlotte Harbor. I’m a lot more worried about water in the house than the Jeep, but I’ll need a truck if the water does get into the house.
And it’s not looking good.
Thanks.
I live in SW Florida and things are not looking good. My wife and I are safe in Georgia so that is the main thing, but my Mohave is sitting in the garage and may very well get wet.
10’ storm surge and it’s probably at the bottom of the doors, but it may be more. So any idea on how deep the...
Just got back from a 5,200 mile trip. SW Florida to Utah. As others have said the 12v fridge is very handy, I also have a hard bed cover to keep everything somewhat safe and dry.
1059 for me. Hardtop,Leather and tow package. It was the reason I went with the diamondback SE. No need for the heavy top and couldnt carry the extra weight anyway.
I voted I didn’t get a great deal. I traded in my 2017 wrangler with 30,000 miles. But I’m happy.
They gave me just a little better than the sticker prices between the two. So I’m happy as I wouldn’t have done the trade otherwise.
So far my iceco fridge works fine. The wife uses it frequently for runs to the grocery store. She goes to different stores for different things and now doesn’t have to return home between or take a cooler.
it does not have the fancy Bluetooth option, but I just want it to work, and it does so...
I ended up with the Mojave. My wife was more comfortable in it, we drove other models and either the ride was to harsh or the seats were not as comfortable.
I won’t be doing any rock crawling, just dirt roads or maybe the beech. maybe some easy trails.
I’m getting around 18 in my Mojave overall. I have around 1500 miles on so far. I can get around 20 highway if I keep it under 70, but around 80 it drops down to around 17.
Added a 12 volt plug in the bed. I used 10 guage wire left over from a boat project, and added a 15 amp fuse. The in-line fuse holder came with a 40 amp fuse, but the 12 volt outlet is rated for 20 amps.
the only difficult part was routing the wires to the front.
I bought my Mojave from them. I traded my wrangler that I also bought from them.
They we’re the easiest to deal with from my area, and of coarse gave me the best deal. No pressure, no added cost.
I went with the se. I did lift the rails and put the shims where indicated. Just take your time, I used a long screwdriver and removed a few from the bottom. And used a plastic putty knife for the others.
I went with the SE vs HD because of the weight. I have a Mojave that has a lower...
I ordered this one, https://icecofreezer.com/products/iceco-jp40-portable-fridge
should be here Monday. Next I’ll need to run power to the bed As I don’t have the outlet back there.
I shouldn’t read these threads. I guess I paid to much, but it was the best deal of the three dealerships I looked at within 50 miles.
I am impatient, once I’ve decided to buy one I want it now. And I had a trade in so it’s a little hard to figure exactly how much I paid.
I paid $25,000 and...
I have no plans on lifting mine. The Mojave is fine. Now I’ve only had this one for a month, so it could change.
maybe some 35” tires when the stock ones wear out.
