Two days ago, I lost WiFi. Yesterday Bluetooth stopped initializing. Today, the system booted 4 times before screen came to life and radio (XM) started working. Soft reset did nothing. Pulling fuse did nothing. Radio works fine. Nav works fine (for what it is). Apple Car Play works...
Gave it some new shoes. My 2021 Overland has 67K on it and the original 255/70r18 Bridgestones were about done. Went in with a plan to get a little more aggressive and left with 275/65r18's. Still "street" tires but like the wider look and the fact that ride height is basically unchanged...
My solution was to mount Elevate slotted rails on the bed, mounted my X15 tonneau to the rails, then my Front Runner towers and racks on the Elevate rails. Elevate makes a full height rack system, but I’m only carrying bikes, so went with the Front Runner short towers. Three years in...
I’m approaching 3 yr anniversary on my 2021 Overland. What Uconnect features will I lose at the end of September? If this has been addressed, please point me to the appropriate tread. Thx
Looks like I’m joining the club. Noticed the leak when I changed my oil over the weekend. Dealer confirmed, ordered the kit and hopefully will get it done early next week.
Just put the tube doors back on and my wife is complaining that they don’t stay open like regular doors. She has a hard enough time getting into the Jeep and some type of door stop check would be nice. Is such a thing available?
I hate that damn storage bag. I want to store my Freedom Panels on my bed rack, that is mounted over my roll up tonneau. Unless available (havn't found anything yet), I intend to fabricate one myself. I would like to emulate the top of the windshield frame using Mopar Targa Panel latch...
I fabricated some tabs to secure the free outside corners. Prototyped in 1/2” oak plywood to emulate the fiberglass tabs on the rear top. Works fine and provides some piece of mind.
Three main components:
1) A wiring harness adapter to tap off the 12V DC plug in the dash. I originally bought it for $20 on Amazon to provide power to my GMRS radio.
2) A door pin switch. 4 for under $10 on Amazon.
3) A 12V 5mm LED. Had one laying around from another project. May switch...
I did it again, drove off with tailgate open, so decided to add a warning light. Bought some led bulbs and a switch. Mounted the led on the taillight housing and the switch so it energizes the circuit when the tailgate is open. Led is bright enough to see day or night, and is clearly visible...
